We had a very comfortable stay at this purpose-built B&B which is organized with guests downstairs and owners upstairs. With this setup, the hosts are inconspicuous but are available if needed via an intercom. Our deluxe room had a high ceiling which made it feel quite spacious and the ensuite bathroom was equipped with a large shower. The private courtyard... More

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and myself stayed the evening of the 3 June 2014. We were meet at the door by the owner who gave us a tour of our rooms and the facilities available. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and full of information about the local area. They were kind enough to recommend local restaurants for dinner that evening.... More

We really enjoyed our stay with Wayne at the Perch! We actually were the only guests so it was like living in our own duplex. Comfortable room with courtyard ( we need to return in summer to get more use) huge ensuite with great shower and a dream kitchen and living area. Kudos for the filtered coffee each day. Apollo... This is a very good, purpose built B&B. Guests’ rooms are on the ground floor, whilst the owners, Gabrielle and Wayne, live on the first floor. The rooms with en-suites are modern, clean and well-maintained, but they are not large. This is because there is a very comfortable guest lounge and large kitchen with tables on the ground floor, which... More

We were made most welcome on arrival by Wayne. This very clean custom built B & B was a very comfortable stay. The room was a little on the small size but more than adequate. The personal room terrace was very good for relaxing with a glass of wine and the continental breakfasts were good. Recommended for a short stay

We stayed with Wayne for two nights over a long weekend. Wayne greeted us and showed us our room and answered any questions we had. This is a purpose built B&B and it has been well designed. The room had everything you would need along with bathroom products. The terrace area off the bedroom was great for enjoying evening wine... More

Had a lovely one night stay at Nelson's Perch while passing through Apollo Bay on our Great Ocean Road road trip. The welcome we received from Wayne was great, and we had a lovely dinner after he recommended a restaurant. Spent a lovely evening sat in out private garden drinking wine - very nice peaceful setting. Breakfast the following morning... More

My honey and I stayed one night at Nelson's Perch B & B in Apollo Bay, Victoria in their very clean spa suite. The owners are charming and dedicated to their guests having a comfortable stay. Excellent wifi, a continental breakfast with homemade muffins, yogurt, fruit juice, and drinks is included in the rate. Upon arrival we were even offered... More

We stayed two nights in January 2014. It is a small purpose built, spotlessly clean, bed and breakfast establishment with first class ground floor accommodation with superior fittings, bedding etc. Our room was great but rather compact with two suitcases to manage. There is a large kitchen area for guests to make hot or cold drinks anytime and for the... More

Nelson's Perch is a perfect little bed and breakfast stop situated on the edge of the town of Apollo Bay ideal for a night stop over when touring the Great Ocean Road. It is a small purpose built property with just three guest rooms and a shared lounge/dining room, the owner lives on the premises and is charming. The room... More
