We stayed at the Sandpiper Motel for one night whilst travelling the Great Ocean Road. After arriving on the midnight horror from Perth then hiring a car to drive down the Princes Highway through Colac to Port Campbell then back up along the Great Ocean Road via all the tourist attractions, we were in great need of an afternoon sleep... more

This is a nice motel for 110 AUD, we had big room, bed and shower. Everything was clean. Free laundry and free internet made it complete. more

After viewing 5 other motels we chose this one . It was worth the wait. First impressions were the rooms were small but this was wrong - it was just the elegance and contemporary look of the place - almost felt Japanese in style. Whilst a bit expensive (AS 140), the room (with a sea view) was very comfortable, the shower great and the reception staff were very friendly. There is free internet (until 9 pm) and free laundry facilities as well. I would recommend this place! more

Nice looking place but we had a problem with our bed - it smelled of urine! The manager refused to accept the obvious problem and said that he did not have time to deal with it. He is in need of some customer service and politeness training in my opinion. more

Everything was pristine. We stayed 4 nights in the family unit. The attention and services were amazingly good. The location is superb, a quiet place with everything at a walking distance, no trafic noise but you can hear the ocean. Kids were delighted. The view may not be the best but you can walk 50m and you´re on the beach... more
