My partner booked two nights at Chris's in a studio king villa. A reasonably good king sized studio villa for two with a marvellous view! A self-contained villa with basic features but it is not worth AUD330 a night. You do pay for the great view of Bass Strait so thanks to my partner for organising this surprised coastal getaway... We stayed at Chris's between Christmas and New Year and the serenity of the location is fabulous. While Apollo Bay and Lorne were teeming with people, this was a little oasis with stunning views of the ocean. The location in relation to visiting the Great Ocean Road attractions and the national park is very central. The restaurant food was good... More

Stayed for 3 night with breakfast had dinner 2 nights. The staff are great. The food is well above average but I would not call it amazing. The rooms could do with a little makeover, especially time to get rid of those wall-to-wall carpets. And I hate to say it, but the beds and pillows are rock hard, not exactly... More

A remarkeable location with rooms & facilities to match We particularly liked the fact that you could enjoy the view from within the room but without being overlooked by adjacent villas Food at dinner & breakfast very good Our only criticism was that the receptionist upon our arrival gave us the impression we were interupting her day - a smile/lightness... Aside from being a bit untidy, this place is heaven. The units provide 270 degree views down the hill side to the ocean. The restaurant serves superb dinners and breakfasts. A wallaby lives in the brush beneath us, and a koala bear showed himself and posed during our moning walk. Chris is a charming Greek who is pardonably proud of... More

We stayed at the villa for a night had dinner at the restaurant. Dinner was great. Chris was there in person and personally served dinner and spoke with us. He was very friendly. Unfortunately, the villa was average. The view over Apollo Bay was nice though.

A great location on the hills above Great Ocean Road with views out to the ocean. The room was well appointed and our only regret was that we couldn't stay two nights. The restaurant was excellent - again with a great view. Food was superb and so was the service. We would stay again without hesitation.

My family stayed at Chris's Villa's for 2 nights as part of our Great Ocean Road expirience. Talk about wow factor. The Villa's are clean, roomy and basic and partially sef contained which was more than enough to meet our accomodation needs however the view form the Villa's and restaraunt was truly spectacular! The restaraunt was spectacular and with daylight... More

While traveling from Melbourne to Apollo Bay we booked a night off the main road up Skenes Creek rd to stay at these villas. It was so enjoyable and views to die for. We had a two bedroom villa one bathroom, with double bed and two singles. It is split level with the living room and dining and kitchen opening... More

My wife and I think this place has a similar feel to the Caeser Augustus on Capri ( the beautiful hotel on the cliff edge on the iconic island) or the apartment I rented on the 33rd floor in the Q1 on Surfers. Stunning views from cloud level to the surrounding countryside and beaches. We experienced a windy night so... More
