I loved this place. It's close to the beach and about 10 minute walk to the main town. It's cute quaint and very pretty. The living area is huge, the kitchens are even bigger and the bathrooms are newly refurbished. There's benches outside aswell so you can overlook the beach and hear the mad waves come crashing in. There's plenty... More

Sleepy little village of bunk beds populated by friendly, like-minded travellers. It doesn't smell like a hotel, the sheets haven't known luxury and the floors remain unpolished. A place only steps from town and less from the beach. Residing on a corner next to another, across from a house on top of a hill, the grass is green with friendliest... More

I spent a night here during a trip along the Great Ocean Road and found it to be comfortable and friendly, if a bit shabby. The dorms are a bit cramped and the bunks are a little creaky if you're trying to make a quiet, considerate exit early in the morning, but otherwise it's a good bet. Great, quiet location,... More

We stayed here for one night while travelling the Great Ocean Road and it was definitely an ok place to stay! The location was definitely nice and the view from the hostel stunningly beautiful, but the place itself was a big old and especially the bathrooms could have been cleaned a bit better. The common area was big and offered... More

We absolutely loved this place. Robyn was super hospitable and made us feel welcome right from the start. It is not the most modern hostel indeed, but this is what made it even more authentic. Our room was very bright and had ocean view. I've seen many hostels before and this one is definitely among my favorites. It actually really... More

We decided to spend a night here during our on the road trip on the GOR and we definitely had great time. Located in Apollo Bay,one of the nicest town of the great ocean road, this backpacker hostel doesn't seem to be an hostel at all:since I walked in,I felt like being at home thanks also to the nice and... What a great backpackers! The owner Robyn was one of the most hospitable host's I've ever encountered. The common rooms, the kitchens, the outdoors all have a homely country charm to them. The rooms are extremely clean and the linen is freshly washed and ironed. At night there is a great common room that you can sit in and enjoy... More

Nothing is really wrong with the hostel itself. The rooms were decent and location is great with a beach view. However the owner needs to set some rules and get some help. No quiet hours are observed or enforced- parties are allowed to go on all night right in front of rooms. My food was stolen from the kitchen and... More

I slept here for 1 night with my girlfriend during our Great Ocean Road Trip. It's an old wooden building with a really old and dirty kitchen. Our 6 share dorm and the shower are ok. It's a fine place to stay for one night (free wifi till between 21.00u and 22.00u)
