this motel is a little gem - it is clean, quiet and reasonably priced with great views of the Western Tiers. It is situated between Launceston and Devonport off the main highway. The motels licensed restaurant is an opportunity to have a home cooked meal with quaint old style decoration and a log fire on cold evenings, again it is... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We had a budget room, and although the owner warned us that the room was small, it was really just what we needed. The room had 2 single beds and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was a bit small (and a bit old school), but their was plenty of towelling... More

Average room with old and dated fittings and facilities: Lace and Velvet curtains, chipped dark red paint everywhere, needs a deep clean. Cleaning staff are required to push heavy, home made, wooden cleaning carts uphill on steep ramps - one for linen, one for other supplies. Would fail health and safety requirements and would reduce time available for actual cleaning. Toaster... More

What's not to like about this place. Sure it is a bit old, a bit fly, a bit straight forward but hey if you want to pull up and have a good nights sleep, a good brekkie and a bloody good flat white then look no further. TV is a bit small but forget the TV and have a stroll... More

We found our twin share budget room compact but perfect for a quick overnight stop while travelling. The room we were in looked like it might have been recently rennovated and had a very pleasant ensuite with a great shower and comfortable beds. The complementary tea and coffee and Internet were much appreciated! We couldn't get much phone reception in... More

Myself and friends stayed here for night after day at cradle mountain. It was a midway point for us on way to Launceston. Rooms are basic but clean and perfect for what we were looking for. The main reason I chose to write a review though was because after a month of travelling to different cities and towns- we chose... More

Lovely views of Quamby Bluff from our room, which was well appointed and well maintained. It's a bit out of town centre but has everything you need including a bar and fantastic restaurant. Friendly hosts and parking at the door to the unit.

The room was adequate, bed comfortable. The toaster and kettle were in an awkward space to use and no plates or cutlery for making toast provided. When I requested more blankets the owner debated with me as to why I did not just turn on the heater or electric blanket. I had to explain that I like to sleep in... More

We were running out of options in Deloraine and surrounds due to the Craft Weekend (late October) and we were taking pot luck. Our room was tiny - I think it belonged to the next door room to make it a family suite (there was an inter-connecting door adjacent to the entry door. As we were not a couple, it... More

Stayed for one night in a family room. Friendly relaxed host. TV only picked up ABC channels (retuned the TV which didn't improve things). Room was significantly worn and dated, but mostly clean. Family room (no. 4) consisted on queen in main area then separate bedroom with two single beds and a rollaway. This is not a quiet room as... More
