Your basic Aussie country motel...took the cheapest room so have no cause for complaint. Clean, plenty of hot water...all we needed after a big walking day. Wi Fi ....only I device per room and 3 hour limit...use the force wisely....

Stayed for one night last week, on a car trip around Tassie. My Husband booked over the phone after google search for accommodation in the area. Look for one night it was fine but definitely in need of an update for the price paid. Basic room with a mismatch of styles which look as if something has been done every... More

We stayed one night and the room was a very good value and conveniently located. The decor was quite dated and there was no air conditioning but it had a great view and was clean. We really appreciated the availability of a washer and dryer. We had dinner in the Settlers restaurant and had a very nice meal. I really... More

Nice, comfortable, and very clean. TV a bit small, but then we weren't there to watch tele. Nice big bathroom and good shower. Bed was very comfortable. Think we must have been in one of the renovated rooms. Would stay there again.

My Mum and I stayed in a very small, twin-bedded room, small bathroom, table and 2 chairs, TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities, plus a toaster. Our room had a lovely view to the Great Western Tiers which goes up to the central highlands plateau. The room was fine for a one-night stay. Very clean and well-equipped

The rooms are small and dated but they are clean and tidy, parking outside your door, a great location to base yourself to go exploring, helpful friendly staff with a good knowledge of things well worth seeing and honest about what is just tourist hype and maybe not as great as advertised, their honesty is refreshing. If your looking for... More

Situated on the highway about 1km out of town. The decor is a dated Federation colour scheme of burgundy and green and in Room 3 matched with a dark blue carpet and net curtains. You do not stay here for its sophisticated ambiance BUT it is clean and quite comfortable. And for $107 pn we had no real complaints except... More

My family and I (8 adults 4 children) booked 1 self contained unit, 1 family unit and 1 twin share budget room on 17 & 18 Nov 2013. The rooms were clean tidy with parking right at the door step. The self contained unit which was the only one in the motel was just great for our group. Sufficient plates... More

I have a weakness for these traditional motels, fast disappearing around Australia. This room was very small with two twin beds and a mountain view and all the usual amenities just crammed in. Cosy and warm and well ventilated and $75 for single occupancy. Excellent! And free wifi for 3 hours. Perfectly clean, freshly decorated and with ace hot shower.Totally... More

Friendly reception, spotlessly clean room, great little restaurant with stunning mountain view, fabulous lamb roast, stunning Pinot Noir on offer, free wi fi. Drive up to the door, 60's style because it is... with a just beautiful 60's playlist in the restaurant. These people try hard, it shows, and they deserve support. Certainly not your average Tasmanian country motel! Well... More
