We spent 2 nights there, plenty of rooms, very organised, and a beautiful view. However, altough it was possible a late check-out, they did not let us stay longer at the last day. I recommed the "Bichenos Blowhole" very neae...... must see it!

We have stayed here for two nights and we truly love it. Each morning we wake up to the spectacular view of the bay. Very quiet and relaxing. The owner is very nice and gave us advice on how to get around the town and she kindly print our boarding pass too. The bungalow is clean and spacious, big TV... More

The friendly owner did offer us a viewing of accommodation but we declined, and instead of accepting the motel area we opted for the more expensive chalet. It was well equipped with a good size telly, good laundry facilities and everything was supplied for independent cooking, but as this was only an overnight stop we chose to eat out for... More

This is a nice place to stay in Bicheno, near to sea and blowhole (walking distance), and can easily found penguins along the road once the day turn dark. The kitchen and utensils is complete ready for cooking. Although we went on summer but it was so COLD as the wind is strong.

My wife and I enjoyed our brief stay at Bicheno by the Bay on New Year's Eve 2013. We were accommodated in the new units beside the canoe pool. Our unit was nicely fitted out, quite spacious with a very good sized bathroom with an excellent and large shower recess--one of the best I have experienced. The motel is only... More

Now that Tasmania has moved to having serious upmarket eco tourism, this place seems a little old-fashioned, but that is what makes it relaxing. The cottages have steep stairs for access (and parking in a narrow driveway up a steep slope can be seriously scary) but they all face towards the bay and the whalers lookout. They are also very... We wanted to spend a couple of days on the east coast of Tasmania but since it was our first trip were unsure of where to stay. Then we saw this lovely place on our way to Hobart and were lucky to get dates to match our requirements (in the busy holiday season - Andrew was very helpful). The units... More

Stayed for two nights with friends and their parents in a self contained bungalow - it was dated in decor and floors were quite creaky which made for a noisy night for the people sleeping downstairs, but had a beautiful view from the balcony and all the amenities needed. It was clean and comfortable. Have also stayed with my husband... More
