As a pair of oldies, this was a good move to book with you, tempted to stay longer but couldn't, beautiful surrounds, loved the wild life, the unit was perfect, clean, neat and provided all that was needed, close to town centre but hidden, ideal surrounds. would like to thank you for accommodating a person with limited mobility and apologise... We stayed for a night at Bicheno by the bay - 3 bedroom bunglow Castaway. The whole place is clean and well equipped. The heaters in the room and especially the toilet really make us so comfortable in the cold cold night. The kitchen is well equipped with all required stuffs. Indeed a comfortable stay.

The cabin was cute and cosy but obviously in need of some renovations or updating. It reminded me of high school camp. I know my husband was a little bit disappointed. To be fair, it appears nicer during the day, I especially like the external view of the little triangular roofs. It can get quite cold at night though we... More

Stayed here for one night in the motel rooms. Rooms have been refurbished in 2010 and have been well maintained since. Minor issue, if one at all, is you can hear neighbours coming and going from units next door. Rooms were very clean with all the facilities you would expect in a motel room. The host was very friendly and... More

We stayed in the stretch of rooms facing the pond, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms looked really new and beautiful! Comfortable beds with electric heated bed covers to battle the winter chill, walking distance to the Bicheno Blowhole and coastal walk, as well as located near the town centre! Only complaint was that our rooms were... More

We loved our stay at the Bicheno by the bay. We were greeted warmly and sent to our cabin. We were unaware that it was two separate rooms which was very nice. We cooked dinner in since on our Tazzy trip, we had stayed only at hotels so far so that was nice. We weren't here for very long, but... More

Stayed in a cabin on my own - all that was needed was there, but cabin looked a little tired, the TV did not work (I don't need tV, but if it's there you sort of expect it to work). Pleasant stay, but rather pricey for what it is (especially for the solo traveller).

We arrived after a very long drive and went straight to reception to pay our balance for the accomodation. When we entered our chalet, we found the fascilities reasonable but there was a terrible smell in the room. We also soon discovered that there was no bed linen for our 3 year old child whom was supposed to be sleeping... More

Stayed a night with my wife and 2 year old in 2 bedroom "Jasmine" cabin. Comfortable. Warm. Very clean. Everything we needed. A bit noisy under foot (middle of night toilet trips cause a LOT of creaking). We arrived at dusk and there were penguins and wallabies on the road out the front...surprisingly no warning signs to watch out for... More
