My husband and I travelled to Bicheno for our honeymoon and we spent two nights at Bicheno by the Bay. I have read a few reviews about the resort and thought I would make my own decision when we arrived. The weather was dreadful on our first day, but we arrived at our destination to be greeted by the lovely... More

We stayed in a two bedroomed cabin which was comfortable and supplied all that we needed for our three day stay. The large balcony was a bonus with views across the resort and out to the sea through the tree-tops. We were given a warm welcome on our arrival and enjoyed the facilities offered such as the small pool and... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom self catered timber bungalow and loved it. Everything was basic but spotless and the kitchen had all you needed. We had or own parking space and felt part of nature. Very suitable for families - you could easily live there for a week. They can book the night time Penquin parade for you -... More

We stayed in Unit 3 'By the Lake' for 2 nights in January 2015. There are 4 units (these are the motel section of the property) overlooking a small lake, which is used by guests for canoeing. The units are clean, comfortable and modern. The bathroom was very spacious and the water pressure was good. Units 1 and 4 have... More

The rooms were large and had a lovely outlook over the lake. There is a shared front deck/ covered outdoor area to all the units which can be noisy. The rooms looked fairly new and the bathroom and shower were huge. Linen and towels were clean and if you want your bed made up you need to leave the sign... More

Stayed 3 nights over Xmas/New Year in a 2 bed bungalow. I think we must have got one of the bungalows not yet updated as it was run down. Nails sticking out on doors, rails on stairs a little loose, lots of cobwebs both inside and out. The Linen was very clean and generally clean but a little out dated.... More

Well this place is beautifully tucked away from the main area of Bicheno, it is surrounded by trees which provide shade and privacy between the bungalows, the birds singing in the background is glorious and all a walking distance to the beach, shopping and eateries. The owners go over and beyond customer service, this they do excel in, nothing was... More

We began our holiday at Bicheno & loved the wooded aspect of the cabin area. Whilst the cabins are reasonably close to each other, there is no noise disturbance & the whole place was lovely & quiet, For entertainment, we conducted our own accidental penguin tour just after dusk. We were returning from the blow hole & encountered many penguins... More

I stayed here for a few days over December while visiting friends. The complex has a series of one, two and three bedroom units that mostly look out to a view of the ocean. The units were mostly built during the late 1970s but have been recently renovated and are clean and comfortable - however I think that the bed... More

Short stay only. Very comfortable and had a full kitchen so we were able to be self-sufficient. Great location with all amenities including pool and tennis court. Undercover parking so great for us motorcyclists.
