Stayed at this property on our way to Adelaide with wife and 2 kids, this property is not the hilton but is very clean and very comfortable, with what renovations and modernisation in great progress. Convenient to Naracoorte Caves. The restaurant in the attached "pub" offers fantastic meals at great value for money. Kids eat free on a Thursday night,... More

Well it must be winter, freezing cold on the night we called in to "The Naracoorte" hotel but once inside all weather was forgotten! Started with a couple of heart starters in the Billy Mac bar where we were welcomed by Sam, who provided some beautifully prepared "Portergaffs" to keep the chill out. After a couple of those it was into... Stopped here for lunch and our meals were fabulous. Amazingly surprised by the range. Perfectly cooked and presented roast vegetables buffet style. Husbands steak perfectly cooked and desserts to die for. Will come again. Great place.

Travelled the Limestone Coast with another couple and stayed overnight at this hotel. We really enjoyed it and the food in the restaurant was yummy!!! But what is with the salad bars all through SA...Not for us..

I enjoyed this hotel. Room was comfortable and clean with enough room to move around. The situation in the centre of the town is very convenient. The restaurant served good, tasty food in large portions, but there were smaller options - very useful for those of us not used to Assie generosity! A disappointment was the breakfast. We came into... More

This is not a Best Western, it's a 150 year old hotel. If (like me) you love old hotels, this is pretty much par for the course: shared bathroom and toilet, creaky floors, dated furnishings. We stayed in the main hotel upstairs and it was very good, the room and bedding were clean, we had a door out on to... More

Located in the middle of town which is good has a nice bistro, bar and gaming room. the room itself is basic and old very country style. the bed and pillows where ok. Old CRT tvs with set top boxes. My biggest hate about Naracoorte is the water, its the worst thing you'll ever drink i strongly suggest buying water... More

The accommodation in this hotel is dreadful. The room we had- and I understand from the other guests theirs were similar, was disgusting. It smelt of mold. It was dirty the bedspreads were dirty. The shower curtain was disgusting and encrusted with dirt. The plaster was peeling off the wall, it was leeching out behind the light fixtures in the... More

We stayed just one night here on our way from Adelaide to Melbourne as we wanted to visit the Naracoorte caves, which by the way are excellent. This hotel seemed like a good option as it was in our price bracket. Well it isn't bad and it isn't good either, you can see they are trying to make the best... More

Surprisingly good. A long way from everywhere but a damn fine counter meal and a quality wine list with quality local wines featured. They had a two meals for one policy the night we visited, so very economical. Also stayed night. Old style pub rooms. But at $60 a night very good value.
