We spent a week in a two bedroom penthouse apartment (301). It was very comfortable with a fresh ambience, well equipped kitchen and new tvs and appliances. It has a great balcony with views of the ocean and is in an ideal location in Kingscote. Generally we were happy with the choice of accommodation and would recommend. My only objection... More

We were staying in the family room that cater for 2 adults and 2 children. The bedding arrangement was really good unfortunately this is at the old side of the hotel. The room carpet is old , the T.V. is small and most importantly the bathroom. Bathroom is old and shower area was very small where you will wet the... More

We travelled to Kangaroo Island as a family and booked two rooms at the Ozone for a week. The rooms were below average; the hotel is in desperate need of restoration. Also, the staff were beyond disinterested to help guests, not to mention one of them was extremely rude all week long. Checkout was at 10am, which seems ridiculous to... More

This place is a good, clean centrally located hotel. Rooms were fine and the breakfast was excellent. Nice location to be able to wander around Kingscote for an evening. Its a big hotel, lots of tour groups and children all over the place but fine for the odd night. Probably more interesting places to stay on KI though! Overall good.

We arrived expecting an old-fashioned hotel with superior facilities. On checking in, we realised that it was not as we thought - but as we were on an island we would go with it. The hotel needs an update and seriously needs to tell the staff that they are there to service customers. We found the majority of staff disinterested... More

After a long journey from the Barossa Valley, to arrive on a beautiful Island, only to land at a very average hotel. I'd booked two separate rooms, to my horror was told that my guests would also be sharing my room. The room had a double bed plus two separates? After checking at reception, after the clerk had gone, I... More

Our experience at the Ozone was actually a disappointment. Kangaroo Island itself is amazing and we will visit again but we will not stay at the Ozone. It has the feel of a cookie-cutter tour bus hotel with most guests on package deals, getting on and off big buses. Both sides of the hotel (there are several wings across the... More

We lived in a sea view executive room, however the room 16 is near the rear gate of the hotel, so a little bit noisy. overall the hotel facilities are fantastic! we've got a complementary wine while dinning in the ozone restaurant and the food there are great! just a little bit problem is that the reception shuts after 10,... OK, to be fair, we stayed just after New Year high season so hotel price inflated almost $300 per night (excluding breakfast), but having squeezed in a small room with kids, it was not most comfortable experience. We were given a room next to swimming pool. Room is not so clean and entire hotel require some renovation. In the evening,... More
