Not overly impressed. I have stayed in better hostels with standard facilities but people who make it worthwhile. On arriving we were greeted with an unfriendly reception, group activities there was not enough space to sit and enjoy the movie with everyone. Local information was limited and everything appeared to be a difficulty for reception. Wifi was awful. Fan in... More

We arrived on a humid and wet night into Mooloolaba and were exhausted by the trip. Our night host was friendly and showed us and helped us into our rooms with all our luggage, our rooms were neat and clean. Free breakfast was provided each morning as well. Staff were awesome and friendly except for a couple of the night... More

Great location, easy walking distance to main area with restaurants, etc. Great value for price. Check in & out was done efficiently. Very lovely staff & lots of free activities on offer. Free breakfast & BBQ dinner was provided as well as free stand-up paddle boarding. Only thing I could fault was that the curtains were see-through, so even though... More

After many bad hostels, this hostel was a dream come true. maybe a bit over the top but it was a great stay. The owners made sure you had a good stay. The dorms didn't feel like dorms at all, more like a luxury dorm. Enough entertainment in the hostel as well :)

Stayed here with several friends for 2 nights/3 days, and was pleased with pretty much everything. Wasn't able to do to much around the hostel since we were sightseeing so much, but I liked that each floor or rooms had a kitchen with refrigerators, stove, and balcony. My room was able to host 4 people, but very comfortably held just... More

Unfortunately we only ended up with 1 night here due to a 27 hour flight delay (they kindly changed our booking without charge). It's a great hostel (one of the best we've stayed in)! We stayed in a 4 bed dorm. Each floor has its own kitchen, large balcony and sofa/TV area. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were all very clean!... More

My fiancé and I recently stayed in mooloolaba for the weekend- we chose the Mooloolaba Backpackers upon his recommendation from previous good times. It's a great spot, and we enjoyed the close proximity to great beaches and loads of great restaurants to eat at. The neighborhood was safe and we walked mostly everywhere. Except the one night we wanted to... More
