Rocked up to the office at about 4pm in the afternoon, Greeted by a friendly/helpful manager by the name of Peter. Peter was very helpful in the office and offered town maps and menu's from around town, Chinese takeaway was the best option as it was delivered, for a short fee. The toilet blocks and camp kitchen were very clean.The... More

Stayed one night while travelling through. Site is well set-up clean and friendly staff. There was a fire pit set up during the evening and hot damper and billy tea was served next to the lagoon. Would definitely stay here again.

Three of us shared a two-bedroomed cabin at this caravan park, as we have in the past. The park is well maintained and attractive as it is located on the river where you can watch various waterfowl as well as other birds. Galahs, Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, Rainbow Lorrikeets, Pale-headed Rosellas, Cockatiels, White-breasted Woodswallows, Black Ducks, Woodducks, Dusky Morehens, hybrid Mallards, Australasian... More

We stayed here on a powered site for 3 nights. The amenities were clean and the site was big. We particularly enjoyed the billabong where we fed the ducks and watched the corellas, galahs, rainbow lorikeets etc. The ducks were in competition with the fish. You are allowed to fish in the billabong but we preferred to just fatten them... More

Stayed for one night while passing through town on our way to NSW. We had an ensuite site (one of four at the park). Staff at the park were very friendly and had us to our site very quickly which was handy as it had been raining a lot and wanted to get set up before the next shower came... More

We stayed in a cabin for one night whilst passing through Goondiwindi. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The park has two extremely well equipped camp kitchens for campers with everything you could possibly need. There was also a pool. Our cabin had a nice big verandah with tables and chairs overlooking a picturesque billabong with lots of bird life. The... More

We arrived late as advised but the Office was still open, a guy named Peter gave us the key and advised that the air conditioner had been turned on which was appreciated. However the cabin given was old and tired. The refrigerator had been turned off and when we moved it to turn it on at wall at the back... More

Pulled in late and was greeted by friendly managers. We were directed to our en-suite site and my parents were directed to their Cabin by the pool. We were surprised at how clean both the cabin and en suite site were. The Cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed, Even a BBQ just outside our cabin. But we were... More

We have stayed at this lovely park many times when traveling from Victoria to the gold coast. On arrival we have been greeted with smiles and courtesy. As an aged couple we have appreciated the assistance when Peter the manager or his wife offered to help us get on site with our van and connect up to water etc. The... More

We camped near the large camp kitchen. The constant noise from the windmill making its Thump-thump noise all through the night precluded us from having any sleep. Add to that, the park is next to a Truck Depot where the trucks came and went all through the night. We wondered why the Caravan Park in town was full and this... More

3 cheers for rain, We are sorry that our windmill deprived you of your sleep, As for having only 3 cubicles is incorrect as we have 2 Toilet blocks. Goondiwindi is situated on the Queensland/New South Wales border and is at the junction of the Newell, Cunningham, Leichhardt, Barwon, Bruxner and Gore Highways. So naturally you will get truck noise... More
