Upon arrival ( an hour early) the managers were friendly and informative. I was able to check in straight away which was appreciated after a 3hr drive with a 1 tear old. The unit was well equipped and laid out. The stairs had a gate at both bottom and top which was very handy. I loved the direct access to... More

Basic accomodation with everything that our family of five needed. We stayed in ground floor 3 bed apartment. Close to pool, no air con but cross breezes and fans meant no need. Very short walk to Moffat beach and play area.

Perfect for old-fashioned family beach holidays. The pool and slide, the adjoining pristine beaches/parks and range of neighbouring small cafes and fish/chip shops are what makes this a superb family orientated resort that will create so many fond memories for children and parents. Some rooms are getting a little tired with age but they seem to have a character that... More

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time it was so quiet, the pools were lovely and relaxing with a beautiful stroll to the beach and play parks for the kids, close to nice cafe's. If you have young children I would suggest you ask for a unit that has safety gates on the stairs. Will definately go... More

Rooms were lovely, location was perfect and customer service went above and beyond, they even took the time to print out tickets for the theme parks that had been emailed to me ! The walk to the beach was beautiful. We will be back next year !

Stayed 3 nights in August , very quiet great pool! The beach is just a few meters from your door, love the bush turkeys in the rainforest. Everything you need is walking distance. Highly recommend for quiet getaway with or without the kids!

The sat nav took us to the wrong location but we eventually managed to find the resort at the end of a cul se sac. The apartment was clean and tidy and the staff made us welcome. Pool was nice but didn't use much as weather was quite stormy during our stay.

Had a week-end away with family at Moffat Beach and stayed at Raintrees. There were a few minor problems that were quickly and easily rectified but all in all our room was great. Rainforest outside kept out all the noise, and we could not hear any noise from other rooms. Pool area was great and very close to our room.... More

3 adults, 3 children in Unit 17 Raintrees resort first weekend August 2014. Lovely, helpful Managers. Quiet nights. Safe and practical ground floor unit. Smelled badly of cat urine on arrival, was rectified quickly with trip to local supermarket. A few minor issues with maintenance ie doors tricky to lock, loose handles on frypan, no handle on saucepan lid, minor... More

What a find Caloundra is.Not many people mention it but great family friendly place to visit. We stayed at Raintrees on Moffat beach. Great location. Off main Rd,short walk to beach ,cafés and shops.Tucked away in rainforest setting.Great pools for kids with a little water slide.
