Firstly I will start by saying that the first time that we stayed at Crown Plaza Pelican Waters we were extremely happy with the staff, amenities and facilities. However, having just stayed there on the weekend, we will not be going back. The staff were rude, impatient and extremely unhelpful. We had issues with the water not draining in the... more

We stayed for one night in April and had the Executive Suite. It’s a large complex with plenty of car parking and we were really surprised by the size of the room, we had a lounge, kitchen, walk in wardrobe, large bathroom with a double shower cubicle, bath, tumble drier, 3 balconies and a great view from the 3rd floor.... more

Stayed for easter long weekend. Room was nice and enjoyed the spa. Location is a bit out of the way. Unless you are there to play golf, then you definitely need a car to get to the beach (or anything else). Hotel was quite modern, and both pools were beautiful, but the heated one wasnt really much warmer. Ate at... more

This hotel is truly Amazing! The staff are excellent, the pool is so warm and the hotel has amazing views of the Sunshine coast hinterland and a golf course with Kangaroos & Koalas on it. The hotel is though away from the main drag and about a 5-10 min drive to Caloundra. The room was huge and modern. with a... more

I recenty spent 5 nights at the Crown Plaza, Pelican Waters on a family holiday. We reserved 2 rooms, for my parents and my wife & children. At the time of booking (using Priority Club Points), I formed the impression the hotel was not in the heart of the action & I was right. The hotel is hidden away, between... more

Lovely hotel with no service. Our room was actually a one bed mini apartment, new and clean. We overlooked the front of the hotel, although we were supposed to have a room overlooking the rear (much nicer view of pool and golf greens) But it was the total lack of service that was the stand out. When we booked in... more

Stayed here for a second time and was very dissapointed to see the hotel had not reacted to what are common problems. Little things like soap that is the same size as a bottle top, toiletries from 5 different suppliers, a request for more toilet paper taking 4 hours to be met and no recognition of my frequent guest status... more

My wife and i stayed at this Hotel and we were very dissapointed.Reason being there was NO porter/bellboy to get our bags from our car and then to our rooms. As we are not that young we found this to be very poor.We also arrived about 10am early and we checked in but we knew that our room would not be... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in a corner suite, which was huge, well equipped with a full kitchen and 3 balconies (!), clean and tidy. WE used the hotel primarily as a base for visiting Australia Zoo. No complaints about the hotel at all - there is a great swimming pool if you're not playing golf, and staff were... more

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza Pelican Waters for two nights for a conference. Room was made up of two double beds. The room, beds and bathroom were clean. The toiletries were Red Earth. The blackout curtains are very effective. The air-conditioning is odd in that will go no higher than 24 degrees celcius. We asked the hotel staff to send... more
