We spent 3 nights in this apartment which was situated on the Gold Coast highway and very close to the Tullebudgerra river which has a number of swimming spots nearby,One of which is pratrolled by lifeguards which makes it very safe as long as you swim beteen the flags. The walk around the headland to Burleigh Heads is a must and... We stayed here for 3 nights. Good points: The unit was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The beach was a short drive away. Bad points: the bathrooms did not look like they had been cleaned from the previous occupants. The inside of the fridge/freezer was dirty. The road noise was so loud we had to keep the doors... More

The apartment was grossly misrepresented as a 'Rainforest Retreat' But it was the filth that ruined our holiday. And the Manager's rude refusal to have the place cleaned. My phone calls, voicemail messages and texts were never answered. To add insult to injury, we were chared $20 more than the advertised rate we had accepted. My photos and email (below)... More

Found management to be very professional and helpful in organising reservation. Any assistance sought during stay was never too much and prompt assistance was always provided. Accommodation was of a very high quality with plenty of space, well furnished and had a full kitchen. As our booking was for 3 people, the 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom unit worked very well.... More

Spent 12 nights at Koala Cove and had a lovely stay. Lots of room, clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was a lovely surprise to see a washing machine and dryer inside the room as I thought we would have had to walk down to the Laundrette. Will definitely stay there again when we visit the Gold Coast... More

Spent 7 nights there during school holidays in July. The apartment was clean and very very spacious. We felt very much at home and very comfortable. We also love its proximity to Burleigh Heads National Park, beach and it's only 30min drive to the theme parks. And it's also close (2 min drive) and within a walking distance (10 min... More

Spent three nights here during school holidays in July. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with a decent kitchen and plenty of room for us and family visitors who live nearby. Nice location across the road from Burleigh Heads National Park, a little road noise from the adjacent highway but not too bad and a short walk into Burleigh... More

Spent 4 nights at Koala Cove recently and although we phoned the day prior and left a message to give our arrival time, was charged $20 dollars for early arrival (1200 instead of 1400), but in fairness were given a large 2 B/R apartment instead of the single B/R that was booked. The apartment itself was great , very reasonably... More

I recently moved back to the Coast from overseas and needed a place for myself, my husband and two children to stay for 4 weeks until our rental property was available. Right from the get go, the Manager Judi was very unhelpful. The unit (including crockery, glassware etc) was filthy. I had to request for the remotes to the a/c... More

Guests for this review and the following booked in for a four week stay with $100 sec deposit ( I know take minimum $300) which I kept as the unit was filthy with all the meals the 2 small kids had eaten, clearly visible in the carpet and the food stuck on the glass tables (underneath) as the glass had... Don't want the hussle and bussle, and still have easy access should the bright lights of the city call, then Koala cove is the place for you. Spacious, comfortable, tidy units, within minutes walk to the magnificent Tallebudgera creek and the beautiful Burleigh head land. Easy walk to some great cafes and restaurants. Home away from home, affordable rates and... More
