First the pluses: Cashelmara is across the road from the patrolled part of the beach and a few hundred meters from the shopping centre (Coles) and the North Burleigh Surf Club. The pool, the (half size) tennis court, the BBQ are all in excellent condition and surprisingly uncrowded despite the 50 units. All units face the ocean. The on site... More

What a lovely place for a holiday. We were on the 14th floor and the view could not be better. We were able to walk across the road to the beach or five minutes south to Burleigh Heads Sth surf club, right on the beach and perfect for an afternoon drink. Across the road from there is the hotel and... More

Room not as described. Stayed in Jan 2013. Fittings and decor in very poor condition. We have stayed at other apartments in Burleigh for over 10 years but this was by far the worst. Apartment shabby/tired feel, room had broken shower screen that had to be repaired twice (really needed replacement). Minimal amenities in apart, barely enough glasses, crockery etc... More

Hi All- third time here now and didn't disappoint. The manager is lovely - very calm and resolves any issues or queries quickly. Ocean view and access to sea and beach is perfect; we love getting up early and running/ walking/ surfing/ swimming and access could not be simpler. Try ' The Nook' coffee take out en route on your... More

October 2012 - We recently booked an 8 night stay at these Holiday Units...We were promised a particular Unit, we paid our deposit and received conformation. The day before we were to check in we were informed our unit was not available, due to patrons exteneding their stay. We had to choose from 3 other units. When we arrived the... More

The apartment was very good and well equipped and we were allowed to check in early after a long flight from the UK via Dubai. The location is ideal, we could literally walk barefoot across the road to a wonderful beach, which we did most days during our 11 night stay when we walked up to the Surf Club at... More

Firstly, and fyi important iformation we know this area very well as my parents retired to this area 25 years ago; we have been coming out every year for the last 10 years; travel business, so like high standards; well travelled; so we are v familiar with qld, gold and sunshine coasts and the barrier reef area. Also, we had... More

We stayed here Feb 11 to March 11, 2012. This was my second stay (first was in 2004). We had a 2 bedroom unit on the 14 th floor. The view was amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed (and it all matched). Yes, the kitchen cupboards were a little dated, but they were in excellent shape. The bathrooms had... More

We have stayed here a couple of times, and given the price and the location, the only thing I can complain about its the fact that there is no air conditioning in the units. Yes, the decor is a little dated, but do you come here to be in the apartment or the beach/town? That is the question you need... More

The apartment we stayed in was unbelieveable - dirty carpets were stained all over, furniture was broken, sleeps 5 - but only chairs for four at dinning table and 2 of those were broken. Chipped china (this is an absolute NO! NO!) cutlery only enough for 2 people, the fypans were absolutely disgusting they had been scrapped and scraped with... More
