Stayed in the Azalea cottage for three nights last week whilst travelling for a week with my mum. This is a perfect place for couples, families or extended family get togethers as the cottages are nestled next to each other but completely private. We rarely heard or saw the other visitors. This isn't luxurious accommodation, but it's comfortable, clean, fully... More

What a wonderful place this is to stay. I can't speak too highly of Brett and the facilities at the Camelia cottage where we stayed. It was so peaceful, spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The bird life is extraordinary and listening to them was wonderful. If you are a keen trout fisher, then this place would... More

We stayed here with our 2 small children and it was just lovely. The cottages are well equipped and immaculately clean, the beds are super comfy and the environment and gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Brett went out of his way to accommodate us when we wanted to stay an extra few days because we were enjoying it so much.... More

Dealing with Brett who I believe to be the Manager or owner was fantastic. We had some issues with our reservation and dates & Brett bent over backwards to get it sorted. It was rectified thanks to Brett and the ongoing communication leading up to our holiday really helped a stressful the situation.

Our family recently had a short stay at Ribbonwood and I can't rave about it enough. I wish we could have stayed much longer. We stayed in the Azalea Cottage and it was all we could want and more. Immaculately clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we could have wanted. It was so nice to wake up to the birds... More

1st time find..a fluke, 2nd time and forthcoming trips deliberate. Cabins are very clean and well appointed, positioning and garden layout ensure maximum privacy. Sitting beside the river is the common man's meditation, watch and listen...too easy. Close enough to town but far enough away to be in the 'çountry'', short stroll into town ( 1 km via old bridge... We have been staying at Ribbonwood Cottages for over 10 years now and we can't wait to get back each year. We love the relaxed atmosphere, great cabins, the trout fishing, the walk to town, the beautiful town itself, the drives in the surrounding area, and the camp fire! Our kids can't wait to get down there each year, and... More

Such a lovely place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights and our cottage (Lavender cottage) was so cozy and felt like home. The cottage is very old-style and welcoming. It's really nice to walk around the paddocks and down to the Tumut river where there is a lovely spot to sit. Definitely worth the money!

We spent 3 nights at Ribbonwood with 3 families. This was a family catchup as we all live busy lives and in different parts of the country, so once a year we choose somewhere that we call all comfortably travel to and meet up. The 3 bedroom cottage was excellent, big enough we did not get in each others way,... More

We have just spent two nights at Ribbonwood and found them to be comfy, quiet and great location to explore the historic west side of the snowy. We were made welcome and everything is well equipped, very clean and easy to function. The antique shop is fabulous with a lot of lovely pieces and collectibles at fair prices, and yes... More
