I have to admit that I expected a higher quality room so on check in I was quite disappointed at the no more than 3 star motel style room. We had an ocean view room and I expected a balcony but there isn't one and you can't see a view laying on the bed. You have to stand at the... More

We arrived by car late at night, around 11pm and guess what ?! The reception was closed, and after a full day drive that just wasn't acceptable. We needed a shower & a bed right away. Thankfully the hotel bar was still open (but right about to close) and a kind gentleman advised us to speak to the bartender for... More

Great location but the dust in the chandelier should have told me to continue on!!! The check in was in the bar and the staff were very nice and most willing to show me a variety of rooms. The room was very basic which is fine but the sheets were thin, the room had one chair and the water pressure... More

We arrived this afternoon (7/10) and are staying in a cabin at The South West Tourist Park, part of the Top Tourist chain. I asked at the desk where we could have a quick, value for money meal, as we were both tired after a long trip. She suggested this Hotel. Service was very helpful and we both decided on... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in August 2014. The room was not particularly special, but clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall, this hotel looks nice and provides all the services you would expect: bar, dinner, sleeping and entertainment.

Foods ok, but what is disconcerting is the constant presence of "bar fly's" that appear to have moved in permanently on the foot path. Really puts a damper on the dining experience either being ogled by this group whilst trying to eat or watching them leer at the people just walking by. Shame as the pub is in a great... More

This little seaside town has a lot of charm and physical beauty. Majestic rock headlands, beautiful beaches and bays and it is steeped in history - the Gaol is a must see. Sunset from the rocks at Horseshoe bay is a must. The hotel has everything, in-house bottle-shop (I'd use it rather than the one in town, the service there... More

Stayed there last March, on arrival we had to ask the cleaner for another chair as they only had one in the room I think they expected us to use the bed as a seat. The shower was something else who ever designed it evidently never used it ,talk about water water everywhere had to use a towel to mop up... We stopped off here on the way back to Sydney from the Far North Coast. The Sea Breeze is in a great location facing the beach. The pub itself is huge and has a very good bistro food. Our room was ready for a make-over but clean and a reasonable size. The welcome was friendly.

There's not much to choose from in a south West Rocks and we ended up here thinking it looked lively enough but it was noisy, ordinary and just plain pub food. Not rushing back here. It's a shame that for such a beautiful location that some one hasn't made this hotel a bit more up market.
