We stayed here overnight recently on our travels as an alternative to camping in the wet. We were lucky enough to get a cabin with ensuite at short notice. The receptionist was very efficient and friendly and the cabin was pleasant, clean and comfortable, with a patio area attached. The park is situated on a 'tidal inlet' which looks like... More

We stayed for just two nights to break the drive to Sydney... and were delighted with our decision! Standard cabin - with comfortable beds, kitchenette, ensuite - everything we needed for a short, comfortable stay. Free DVD movies (with refundable deposit) were a bonus. Well located in quiet spot near Back Creek - you can walk to Back Beach via... More

This caravan park is located close to the beach (Horeseshoe Bay) and town which is a big advantage, but its also exposed to the off shore winds. We were in a very exposed position (site 39) and the winds from late afternoon to midnight made our stay very unpleasant.

Our family took advantage of our top tourist staff discount and booked a night in a waterfront villa for a weekend away in South West Rocks. We were totally blown away by the Superior Waterfront Villa, modern, spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view of the water. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with providing local information.... More

Three nights in a CABIN. Fantastic, comfortable, supplies everything. Lots choices of cabins. Kangaroos and exotic bird-life,lovely native trees, spitting distance form the sea and rivers and township. Down the road from wonderful boat ramp. It has everything. Best park stayed in oout of at least 100 round Australia. Good facilities for those staying longer--and of course the area surrounding... More

Spent 5 nights on a powered ensuite site and it was glorious. The park is large and shady. The amenities are clean and tidy and the staff is incredible. A short drive to town to see the most amazing beaches I've ever seen. The whole town is clean, tidy and friendly - I will definitely return, only this time I... More

We spent a few nights on an ensuite site at this park. It is on a river, has a nice natural feel about it with lots of trees, is well-kept, walking distance to town and quiet and peaceful at night and allows dogs. Our ensuite was modern and spacious and the sites are a good size. Plenty of bbqs around... More

En-suite Powered site. En-suite spacious and very clean. Quiet location in May, Close to pretty scenic river. TV Room well appointed. Relaxing. Good sized site. camp kitchen a little sparse. Good Gas for stove (not limited or slow gas as in many other parks), cooked food well, need a key for fridge as an open camp kitchen. Enjoyed our stay,... More

My husband and I stayed at the SWR tourist park for one night on our way north. We'd had car trouble and didn't get as far north as we'd hoped, and lucked into a spot (on Easter weekend!). It's a big park but people were considerate of their neighbours re noise. The amenities block was clean and tidy, and the... More
