Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SWR Tourist Park. Facilities were spotless everytime, games room was used everyday by the kids, we had the best camp spot right in front of the river. Couldn't fault it!

Clean spacious park with good sites - well maintained gardens with great bird life. Park staff caring & friendly. A pleasant 10 minute walk from the park to the shops/cafes & waterfront. Good bike track from the township to the "Goal" We'll be back!

We stayed for 1 night at powered, water front site. Easy to park, close connections to water/electricity/sewage and very large space for the caravan with adjacent slab. The showers and toilets are sparkling clean - the cleanest we've seen so far! Nice playground, very friendly reception and convenient location - just 5 minutes from the town center. The only disadvantage... More

Hi Dfishman, Thank you for your comments which we have taken to mean that the shower heads are too high for the children. We are now organising to have the showers fitted with a shower head that is moveable on a rail and can be adjusted at different heights. This will also offer a hand-held shower for rinsing off. Kind... More

We stayed 4 nights from 14 Feb 2013 on an unpowered tent site at the farthest point from the entry gate. Unfortunately, the only amenities block in this large campsite is situated close to the reception and entrance. Heavy rain made it very uncomfortable to get to the shower and toilets which was compounded by the lack of anywhere to... More

Hi StephanieB, At South West Rocks Tourist Park our main goal is to make our guests’ stay an enjoyable and memorable one; we are sorry if we did not succeed in your case. We do have some unpowered sites that are nearer to the amenities, and it is unfortunate that you were so far from away when the weather was... More

This park has good size slab powered caravan sites. Grass sites also available. We stayed on a site near the pool and also had good river views. The amenities were very clean and the pool area is very good. Being the last week of the school holidays it was not overcrowded and the rates were moderate.

We stayed in a cabin mid January as we were working in the area, the cabin was a standard 3 star with separate bedroom. We were booked in for 4 nights but only stayed 2, I would rate this cabin as only just a 2 star No air con, the fan we had would have been about $10 at any... More

Hi Otis055, It is disappointing that you did not enjoy your stay in our park. We strive to present a park & accommodation that are inviting and conducive to a pleasant stay for all our guests. We are unable to identify your exact booking, but during our peak season a 1-bedroom standard cabin rate for 2 persons was $190pn. The... More

We stayed in a powered site facing the river. It was a tranquil stay, even at a busy time of the year ( 22-25 Dec). The hosts were very friendly, the site size was generous and we had amazing views. Highly recommended.

We had a very relaxing week in this sleepy rural location. Being outside of the peak times the town was not over run. The park is in a great setting just outside the town centre. We set up tent by the river so were in a great position to put our kayak in the water, tried a little fishing but... More

Stayed in a deluxe cabin last night. The cabin seemed brand new and was spotless and well maintained in all respects and the beds were really comfortable. For a cabin, it was really well appointed. In terms if location, The park is located on the river and a bit out of the way. Next time we go to South West... More
