Sensational Smoky Cape lighthouse! We have just stayed in the lighthouse keeper's cottage B&B for the second time and loved it all over again. Since our first stay last year the cottage has been extensively renovated in keeping with its heritage. Both bedrooms now have ensuite bathrooms which is a great improvement. The beds are comfortable, everything is provided, including... More

We are on a three month holiday in Australia, and have stayed in many different types of accomodation which we have researched and booked before setting off in October. It is always exciting when you first arrive as you have an expectation of what it will be like, but you can never be sure. When we headed off the main... More

I have stayed here a few times and can highly recommend it. The B&B is great with large beds and the rear room has its own bathroom The keepers cottages are also good if you have a larger crowd, check out the refurbed lighthouse its great Remember its quite isolated and lunch and dinner are not available at the B&B,... Absolutely lovely place to stay. We didn’t meet the hosts as they were away, but Christine stood in for them and did a wonderful job. We had a four poster traditional room that ooozed elegance. in the morning, we were treated to a delicious hot cooked meal, or cereal, or fruit and all this was sat on the deck overlooking... More

After seeing this place reviewed on a travel TV program I was sold! The location is spectacular, with stunning views up and down the beautiful coast line. The lighthouse is located within a National Park as well, so is surrounded by bushland and down the (steep) path is a great little BBQ area. The rooms were basic but well kept... More

This gem is divided into three sections, a B&B- the "lighthouse keeper's cottage" and two self contained units the "assistant lighthouse keeper's" and "visiting officer's" cottage. We stayed with family in one of the self contained cottages for the weekend for a wedding held at the lighthouse. It was just beautiful. We have stayed in South West Rocks plenty of... More

My husband and I spent 2 weeks travelling up the Eastern Coast of Australia, and by accident found the Smoky Cape Lighthouse. It is some distance from the nearest town, and we even met a couple of kangaroos on the road to the lighthouse! This became one of the most memorable stays of our holiday. The owners of the B&B... Smoky Cape Lighthouse is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for something very peaceful & relaxing. While I love 5-star places, there is something special about staying at an historic place such as the Lighthouse. You actually stay in the old Lightkeeper's house, which is basically furnished, very clean and with a few modern things such as... More
