This motel is quite large and covers a lot of area. It includes a tennis court and swimming pool. The owners are friendly and helpful and presented us with a complimentary bottle of wine on check-in (we were walk-ins, not sure if this is standard for all customers). The room was quite dated in terms of curtains, carpets and bathroom... More

It is so nice to have a pet friendly motel that was clean. Just had an overnight stay and although older style motel is well maintained. Only one suggestion it would be so much better not to have carpet in a pet friendly motel. Tiles right thru would be a much better idea. To give a more modern feel change... More

We headed up from Sydney and after a 5 1/2 hour drive we stopped at the first hotel into town exhausted. The lady at reception is really lovely and has great customer service skills, but at $135 it was overpriced for the time of year. As we arrived at 6.30pm I did ask (and was permitted) to stay until 12.15pm... More

I stayed at the Costa Rica some 12 months ago, unfortunately as the Surf Life Saving Country Titles were on at the time, my friend and I were senior volunteer officials travelling from afar, the only accommodation we could find, was what was offered in the Bunkhouse part of the Motel. In general you could not get accommodation anywhere in... More

Stayed overnight. Booked here as other places closer to the beach were full. No frills place, yet had hot enough options with a pool , tennis court etc. offseason prices should be cheaper than what we paid during Christmas break. Dining options available though prices seemed a bit steep.

While not a high-end place, we were pleased by the treatment we received by the lady working there. She was very helpful and nice, giving us good advice for ways to spend our time in town. She reserved space at the on-site restaurant for us, which served good food. My kids think that they had the best french fries they... More

Although the grounds were rather messy,[after torrential rain and strong winds] they were soon cleaned up. The room was very clean, the bed comforable, and tea, coffee etc. plentiful. we were disappointed however with position of our room. we upgraded to a deluxe room, supposedly with a patio back and front. The back patio was vitually non existant and only... More

Reasonable standard although a little pricey but one of the better hotels and has a great restaurant with a fantastic 2-4-1 meal offer on Wednesday nights. Rooms are large but a little dated and location isnt great as would be 15+ mins walk to town. Friendly staff.

Came here with a dive group. There are many power outlets in the room so no problem in charging your appliances if sharing with others. The interior of the room is alright, not posh. Bathroom is a bit dated but usable. Swimming pool is very small. Best is not to have too much expectation. It is located a distance away... More

Clean room, a comfy bed (best nights sleep I had had in ages, no kids, LOL) and very accommodating owners, allowing me early check-in to get ready for a function. And complimentary hot chocolate, not just tea and coffee!
