We recently stayed at the motel for 4 nights over last weekend & was very disappointed to say the least. Although the staff were friendly our room was very outdated & although clean it was riddled with thousands of ants which were in out beds after my husband complaining we were given a can of fly spray to deal with... My boyfriend and I stayed in this motel NYE 2014; we finished work at 6pm and because of many delays didn't arrive to the motel till 8.30, nobody was at reception when we got there, after about 5 minutes somebody turned up, we moved our car and were shown our room (room 1), if you're after cleanliness this is the... We arrived in xmas day. The WHOLE town was closed but the lady at reception organised us a xmas dinner of prawns, ham, turkey and salad as well as fruit and dessert at $30 p/hd. We certainly weren't complaining. We stayed in room 8 which included a long parking spot which was handy for the trailer and bike....the room was... More

we came home today after spending 4 nights and 5 days at this Motel, I had read bad reviews about it but found none of them true in our case, the only thing is you don't have any cooking facilities except for a microwave in the rooms, so basically have to eat out. The staff is very nice and help... More

This motel is quite large and covers a lot of area. It includes a tennis court and swimming pool. The owners are friendly and helpful and presented us with a complimentary bottle of wine on check-in (we were walk-ins, not sure if this is standard for all customers). The room was quite dated in terms of curtains, carpets and bathroom... More

It is so nice to have a pet friendly motel that was clean. Just had an overnight stay and although older style motel is well maintained. Only one suggestion it would be so much better not to have carpet in a pet friendly motel. Tiles right thru would be a much better idea. To give a more modern feel change... More

We headed up from Sydney and after a 5 1/2 hour drive we stopped at the first hotel into town exhausted. The lady at reception is really lovely and has great customer service skills, but at $135 it was overpriced for the time of year. As we arrived at 6.30pm I did ask (and was permitted) to stay until 12.15pm... More

I stayed at the Costa Rica some 12 months ago, unfortunately as the Surf Life Saving Country Titles were on at the time, my friend and I were senior volunteer officials travelling from afar, the only accommodation we could find, was what was offered in the Bunkhouse part of the Motel. In general you could not get accommodation anywhere in... More

Stayed overnight. Booked here as other places closer to the beach were full. No frills place, yet had hot enough options with a pool , tennis court etc. offseason prices should be cheaper than what we paid during Christmas break. Dining options available though prices seemed a bit steep.

While not a high-end place, we were pleased by the treatment we received by the lady working there. She was very helpful and nice, giving us good advice for ways to spend our time in town. She reserved space at the on-site restaurant for us, which served good food. My kids think that they had the best french fries they... More
