I recently visited Sydney for a meeting at UNSW Kensington & wanted a hotel close by. st. marks is in a great location, short walk to many cafes & restaurant. The room was nice, well furnished and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small but shower was quite large & plenty of water pressure. There is only street parking which... More

nice old building in beautiful randwick and close enough to The Spot where you can get great food and films. Even saw a possum climb a tree while walking back from the shops. Lodge has a nice courtyard as well.

we left feeling disappointed with this accommodation. firstly the rooms was very small, bathroom even smaller, so small you could not dry yourself in, it was about 500mm wide! we thought it was an apartment, it is not, it has a sink and a fridge in the room. if you want to cook there is a communal kitchen along the... Have been staying at St Marks now for several years when I need to travel to Sydney. It's a great place. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The recent re decorations have made it even nicer. Close to some great dining as well. If flying into Sydney you can get the 400 bus I think from the airport.... More

Had some business to attend to in Sydney and stayed a couple of times during the same week. Accommodation was excellent. Nice older building, close to Royal Randwick shopping centre and other amenities and a pleasant stroll to the beach. Parking along the street and being able to come and go in your own vehicle is a real bonus compared... More

We stayed here for three nights after arriving in Sydney for a family wedding. Good things first: The lodge is a nice looking older building with rooms that are spacious and up to date. Shops are a few minutes walk away (up a hill) and the bus to the city in practically at your doorstep. Less good: Our room was... More

Clean comfortable room recently refurbished, helpful friendly staff. Close to bus route into City but nice quiet location. Kitchen facilities available on first floor where we had our room but no hot plate. Would definitely return if back in Sydney.

St Mark's Lodge was a great place to spend 5 nights at. It was convenient accommodation (in a suburb in Sydney) that was comfortable and quiet, but close enough to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The staff were wonderful and accommodating too. Definitely recommend this place.

A lovely place with great service, my husband and I had a late flight so we had to check in late in the evening and it was no problem. The young guy at reception, gave us specific instructions of public transport with bus timetables, costs of taxis and even a map of how to get around. I was just amazed... More
