Having read the previous very negative review, I'm not sure if I stayed at the same place. All the staff I interacted with were very courteous and helpful, and while the accommodations were not as spotless as one might expect at a higher end place, it is quite a deal for the middle of Sydney. The Centre really is in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and our room was never serviced, we had a thing called half service which involves refilling your coffee n tea and a couple of milk. We had towels when we arrived and as there is a pool we thought we would have a swim but not knowing those are the only towels we could... More

First time stay. Very old but clean & no city noise whatsoever. Swimming pool. Bus stop at front to city, restaurants 5 min walk, shopping groceries etc 10 min walk. Coogee beach 5 min drive. Need to get there early tho for parking. Will stay here definitely again.. Complimentary continental breakfast included. Staff very courteous.

This must be the 5th time we have stayed ar the Centre and I believe that 4 out of 5 times the staff have lost our booking and don't have us listed. We keep hoping things will be better because the place is conveniently placed near buses and shops and supermarket etc, and near the Childrens Hospital. We had booked... More

I stayed recently for a course in one bedroom with an ensuite, I had lovely views in my room and it was adequate. One thing that stood out was the single room was extremely small but that may have been my luck as all the rooms varied in size, if you are a tall person I would recommend to pay... More

Enjoying a 6-day holiday in Sydney. We stayed at The Centre in Randwick for 5 nights. It is a historical great building with very basic accommodation. We stayed in Room 35, which is on the second level. The room was a good size for the two of us with a comfortable bed and clean. The bathroom is quite spacious with... More

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a course at the nearby UNSW Kensington campus. Although it is a Christian-run hotel, i am not religious and didn't find it in-your-face at all. In fact, the only religious thing i noticed was a small mission statement at reception. My room was spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable. There is a light... More

this guest house offers basic but functional rooms and a continential breakfast; its family room is great value; it is easy to drive to but also has the advantage of being on a bus route to the city, bondi and the airport (if going to the airport by bus make sure you allow plenty of time). both times we have... We stayed here with our family this last weekend & had a wonderful stay. Our room slept the 5 of us, had a microwave, fridge & sink, and bathroom. There is also a TV (although the reception isn't brilliant). The view from our room was AMAZING (we could see the city skyline of the CBD). The breakfast is cereal, toast... More

I can agree with what the other two reviewers say however my rating is higher as the Centre is extremely affordable, clean and with great views of Sydney. And it is historic. I have frequently stayed with my wife at the Sheraton on the Park and it would be one of our favorite hotels in the world but I don't... More
