We went to Sydney for a medical conference held at the MGSM. We stayed there for 4 nights and had a great stay. We arrived from the Blue Mountains and checked in. The staff were great and very helpful. We dumped our bags in the room which was very nice. Two big beds, tv, table and bathroom. We then headed... More

We stayed here just for night on our way back to Canberra. The reception area was really plain and felt like we were walking into a public library. The door key didn't work (reception didn't code it properly) so it took a while to get into the room. Rooms are small but tastefully furnished. Compare this to the Travelodge only... More

TV remote was partly broken, but everything else was good. One of the cheapest places to stay in the Macquarie Park area. Comfy beds, not too far from the train station and Macquarie Centre, and is practically part of Macquarie University. Thumbs up.

It's a cross between a Y/hostel and a higher end motel. The receptionist is average, it was a bit hard to find and we went through the MGSM building itself. The rooms are your basic 4 star hotel, room bathroom to the right ( small shower and the bathroom is small). There are generic toiletries, basic cable TV, room service... More

Very affordable at $120 evening and quite presentable and very quiet. Comfortable bed and we slept soundly, however, the place needs a deep clean, especially in the bathroom. Front counter service was good and the restaurant looked appealing, although we did not utilise the service. Room service is available.

This is a comfortable place to stay. Normally used, I guess, by conferences held on same site, but ok to stay any time. Parks surround the hotel as part of the university grounds, so easy to find a nice walk in the morning. Plenty of nearby dining as long as you're not too fussy (in Mac park shopping centre, and... Booked the hotel as it was cheaper than return cab fares from the city to a party we were going to. We didnt know what to expect being at the Uni, thought it may be student type accommodation. The rooms are modern and stylish, hotel rooms that are clean, quiet with great views, quite compact but really well appointed. We... More

Looking for accommodation in the Ryde/Macquarie area and discovered this gem. Situated in the grounds of Macquarie University this is a very peaceful hotel over looking the lagoon, the room is large and well set out, everything you require comfy bed and nice leather lounge, free wifi, bathroom a bit squishy but does the job also a lovely little balcony... For the price you pay for a room only you can't complain if you stay here. I know the area well so for a short 10minute walk to the now improved Macquarie Centre, you can get a better breakfast there. Reading the reviews on here proves we made the right choice as you have to pay an extra $60-$70 to... More

Firstly, this place was difficult to find. MGSM is actually a part of Macquarie Uni, and is a school....as such when I arrived at 9pm, looking for the MGSM sign wasn't enough, and the small sign pointing to the Executive Hotel was difficult to see at night. The room was a reasonable size, although the bathroom was tiny. The rooms... More
