A majority of people wouldn't enjoy staying at this hotel but this hotel is quite good and its the best one I've been at in a while, the staff are really kind and friendly. Yes the rooms are very dated but its a room that you can sleep in for what ever the reason it doesnt have to be a... More

Driving from the Blue Mountains, we contacted The Wayfarer's Motel to check availability for 1 night - we were in luck. And luck it was as our room was very clean, comfortable and contained all we needed. The bathroom was the largest we encountered during our trip, with plenty of towels and lots of hot water with good pressure. The... More

One night is all u could do. Front rooms extremely noisy, even back rooms as you get trains going by. When u book budget u don't expect much but at $100 per night I expected a little more. Very dated still have the old window air conditioners which take ages to heat up and are extremely noisy. Beds had electric... More

Basic, very basic. Yes it was clean and it had four walls, a roof and beds. Don't expect anything more, the staff at the desk weren't that friendly/helpful either. Won't be staying there again and hopefully you can find somewhere else to stay too.

Fronting a main highway you would expect a little noise. However the front rooms of this motel are extremely noisy due to semi's rolling by every few minutes .No attempt has been made to double glaze,to prevent this thunderous invasion or use heavy curtains, insulation etc. The front rooms are outdated. The rooms on the western end run short of hot... More

...found it here! Exceptionally clean motel. Have stayed both in the front and rear section and we did not find the traffic noise a problem. Thought the bed in the front room was more comfy. Everything, including enough utensils to make your own breakfast. You can purchase a cereal breakfast pack at reception if you want. Very generous supply of... More

This was a very basic motel, marginal for what we were looking for for a one-night stay. Traffic noise was a problem. There was a charge for WiFi access. A bigger question is why did we go to Muswellbrook in the first place! We thought we were on a tourist backcountry drive route but ended up in a town surrounded... More

This motel was exceptionally clean - not a sign of dust in any nook or cranny which is so often the case when rooms just get a quick whip around with the cleaner. The same could be said for the bathroom as well. The staff were friendly enough, except it took over 10 minutes to check in because no one... More

We arrived late and left early as we were travelling. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Motel was very clean and comfy. Not the newest place in town but clean and well maintained, Some fittings and the carpet had been updated at some stage, so had a good homely feel. On the highway but there was minimal road noise. Bed... More

...... main highway, fridge & air con. Apart from that it is functional & clean & perfectly OK for an overnight if you have earplugs!! The woodwork is looking tatty & the lighting is poor but it has plus points like a microwave & a fair size shower room. The bed was very comfy with nice bedding. We have stayed... More
