Old Leura Dairy is a lovely property on the quiet residential side of Leura. My family and I(6 of us) stayed for 2 nights at the Workers Cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. We took a train from Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport to Leura. We had to change trains at Central. About 2 hours and passes by some... More

We stayed in Moo Manor, a two bedroom cottage that is part of the Old Leura Dairy. It was simply perfect. It was quiet, cool, light and set close to Leura town centre but in amongst the Australian bush so we could enjoy native birdsong and not be disturbed by the hustle bustle or highway noise. Our host Shaina was... More

Thank you for such wonderful words! I am truly glad you enjoyed your stay and were able to 'just be', enjoy the environment of the dairy and of the nature we are surrounded with. It was a pleasure and an inspiration to meet you and I look forward to seeing you here again. Shaina More

My wife and I stayed one night in the Studio and wished we could have stayed longer but had to move on the next day as we had booked all our accommodation for our trip in advance. The owner was very friendly and gave us a map and showed us which places to visit and when. The Studio was clean,... More

I booked Old Leura Dairy with a large group of 23 friends. Everyone (including myself) was amazed at the quality of the accommodation - the pictures really don't do it justice. It was quirky, rustic and the perfect location for our Christmas in July event. The staff were helpful in arranging additional seating for the Saturday dinner by the fireplace!... More

We stayed at the Old Leura Dairy as part of our anniversary and stayed in the smallest converted cow house Buttercup barn. As we arrived the staff were very helpful and then left us alone which was great! The barn is something special everything appears re-used from something else think rustic country farm house with a touch of dairy. Though... More

Stayed in the Milking Shed and the Moo Manor. Arrived with the heater on, log fire ready to go and music playing gently. Amazing kitchen and amenities. Beautifully appointed whilst still maintaining a charm so cute and cozy the only thing missing was a kitten. The moo manor was set up to accommodate all 7 of us for dinner as... More

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed in the Studio, and were lucky to do so (as our tour operator had messed up our booking, and we almost had to go elsewhere). But the lovely folks at Old Leura Dairy sorted things out for us, for which we are really grateful as I could tell it was the kind of... More

When we arrived at the hotel the sight of shanty buildings had US wondering what our travel agent had been thinking about. We soon changed our minds. The interior of the studio was excellent and the breakfast provisions were delicious and comprehensive. The grounds were attractive and the bird life noisy but fascinating. The whole concept of ecological sensitivity was... More

I have stayed for work and for recreation. I have also recommended many people to stay here. The photos do not do the place justice. It is an amazing experience. This is not the sort of hotel experience that can be created by a high end chain of hotels. The owners have created a vision that is truly unique. The... More
