Very nice old style B&B in a quiet area yet only 300m to the shops and restaurants. We were well looked after by our host Cherill. A large breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. The chocolates in the room were a welcome touch after a long day of hiking in the area. I would recommend.

The spa suite was amazing, you get your own sitting room to relax and watch DVDs. Cheryl (the lady who takes care of the guesthouse) was lovely and makes a very yummy and filling breakfast. It is a great place to stay in Leura.

Stayed at the Argyll over the weekend in the room with the spa. We loved the interior decor, it was everything we expected and more. The four course breakfast was great, I'm vegan and was still well catered for. My meat-eating partner also loved it. Cheril was really helpful with everything we asked about and a great host. There's a... More

Great B&B, very tasty breakfast and a knowledgable and friendly host. The beds were also very comfy. The location is away from any traffic noise and quite close to Leura town centre (Short walk up the hill). Well worth the stay!

We stayed for a night in the cottage out the back which is Jane's painting studio. It was beautiful. The lounge areas the tables the bed all comfortable. The view to the garden magnificent. The owners were very welcoming of our little dog and with access to the garden it was the prefect place to stay. We had our own... More

Thank you for your kind appreciation of the Studio at Argyll House. We loved to see your little dog enjoying the garden. So sorry about the small tree removal but we had to cancel 3 times because of bad weather and availability of professional help and could not cancel again when your late booking came in. We promise there will... More

What a great place to stay a wsrm and welcoming host who tends to every need you may have. The four course breakfast will keep you going for the day . Located in the heart of Leura there is no need to use the car once it's parked. An excellent place to recharge your batteries.

Firstly the lady who runs Argyll house is lovely and we loved how toasty and warm it was during the winter. However we did feel a bit awkward here because anything we mentioned we wanted to go do or go eat was met with an overbearing opinion from the lady who runs it, I'm sure she means well by telling... Sorry you felt like this about the Argyll, all breakfasts are freshly cooked, the turnover is so regular and Council regulations so strict that in 13 years of operation we have never had a comment like this. With regard to creepy crawlers the only explanation can be that the lovely Ironbark firewood we use does tend to have the occasional... More

This bed and breakfast house was such a difference. It was full of character and Cherrill the owner made you feel so welcome. It was within walking distance of Leura and restaurants. Room lovely and warm and clean. Enormous breakfast offered in the morning.

This was my second time staying at Argyll Guesthouse. Both times I have had a wonderful experience.
