We stayed at Kurrara Historic Guest House on the way to Jenolan Caves, a real treat From the moment we arrived the stay was great, the quick run through the facilities was a nice touch, the room was excellent, you could't eat all of the spread put on for breakfast, super friendly staff, quite, easy walk to the main street... Lovely, friendly place to stay. We were very late in arriving, and instructions and helpfulness of staff to get in couldn't be bettered. Guest house is very quaint and charming. Only stayed two nights, but enjoyed it. Short walk to three sisters, and slightly longer walk into town, but still only about 20mins. Breakfast was good. Our bed even had... More

This was a lovely comfortable guesthouse with an excellent breakfast buffet. Well located and with quality beds and linen. Friendly staff. We only stayed for one night but wished it could have been longer.

We spent three wonderful nights at Kurrara Guest House in March. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean, quiet and cosy. The whole atmosphere was like being taken back to a time of elegance and charm. Well done. Will certainly recommend and will stay again. Margaret and Peter

A wonderful, relaxing stay in a charming old guesthouse, good service and very clean ,with lots of nice treats and a excellent breakfast. Our host did a marvellous job and would thoroughly recommend a stay at this historic house in a lovely quiet area of Katoomba. Walking distance to restaurants and a safe area to park your car.

A lovely old house with plenty of character but unfortunately our stay was ruined by the owner Iain in the morning when we went down for breakfast, which begins at 8am. We opened the door to the breakfast room at 8.10 (was unlocked), and went to make a cup of tea. The labret came out from the kitchen area and... More

Decided to take the girlfriend away for the weekend and found this place on Tripadvisor. The two night stay was wonderful. A lot of nice little touches made it feel homely and welcoming such as the large DVD and book library, free wifi, decent breakfast, incredibly comfortable bed and a very friendly host. Thanks to Stephanie for helping arrange the... More

We just had one night at Kurrara. It was great. The room was spotless, the bathroom was great, the decor was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. Loved the relaxed homely atmosphere. Nice personal touches. Brekkie was good but would have liked a nice hot vegetarian option (if I really had to be picky). We will definitely stay there... More

My girlfriend and I found the deluxe room with spa to be the perfect way to end a day in the blue mountains. The bed, decorations and facilities were all great and the staff service was excellent! A huge DVD collection and plenty of delicious teas and coffees made the bad weather that night quite alright! I believe a stay... More

The house takes you back in time to the early 1900's but has all the facilities of a modern day guest house, including en-suites and good internet facilities. The rooms are very charming and comfortable, each one decorated differently, some with 4 poster beds. The continental breakfasts are outstanding with a very good choice of food and refreshments. Afternoon tea... More
