We took visiting relatives from Holland to stay for 3 nights recently. We were hoping for something special to end their holiday and at Kurrara that is just what we got. There is nothing we could fault during our day. You made our stay exceptional. Thank you our wonderful hosts, we will be back.

Everything about Kurrara Guest House was fantastic. Great bed, fantastic breakfast & always a biscuit or cake to nibble on. Hosts were very helpful without being in your face. We also enjoyed talking to other travellers in a relaxed lounge area. Just book it - you won't be disappointed.

From the first moment we walked through the door of this property, which has been a guest house continually since 1902, we were smitten. Great style, decor, friendly greetings. Afternoon tea was served not long after we arrived - tea, coffee, home made cakes and biscuits. Free port and a TV room with an extensive DVD collection available for free... More

My wife and I were visiting Katoomba with her parents who are visiting from Russia. The Kurrara Guest House was beautiful in every way. No detail was spared and the service was fantastic. I consider myself a seasoned traveller and have come from 15 years hotel/hospitality management and this was one of the most enjoyable 1 night stays I have... More

We recently booked the last 4 rooms in Kurrara for our family Christmas holidays, a first mountain retreat for us as we generally prefer coastal getaways. We were not disappointed. All the rooms were so beautifully decorated in keeping with the period of this guest house and with the added bonus of modcons. One can relax in its beautiful garden... More

I stayed at the Kurrara House for two nights recently. This is one of the best houses I stayed not only at the Blue Mountains but in Australia. It is very reasonably priced. The owners are excellent hosts. The house is full of charm and very well reserved for its era. The rooms were very clean and superbly decorated. The house... More

We booked 3 rooms for our family of six. Each room was beautifully done, with lovely bed linen and proper pillows - blissful. The owners were incredibly helpful, providing good ideas on what to see, as well as power adapters so that we could charge all our devices. The guest house is well placed within walking distance of some of... More

Staying in the Kurrara Historic Guest House was a unique opportunity to not only to get a quiet night’s sleep and a great breakfast but to delve into the earlier days of Katoomba. The present owners have invested heavily into the building and business. We loved the various pieces of antique furniture, plates, wall hangings, and other pieces. It’s more... More
