Reasonably priced guest house with lots of character and pleasant hosts. Well appointed ensuite rooms. Extensive continental breakfast. Free wifi and movies to borrow. Located between sights and shops. Parking on site.

The Kurrara Historic Guest House is located in a quiet neighbourhood. We spent a couple of very windy days at the end of June here. It was nice returning to his warm house with the fire place lit and a nice glass of port. The hosts were welcoming. Only wish we had a longer stay as the Blue Mountains are... More

This Historic Guest House is clean, has a very warm and friendly feel and nothing is too much to ask from Iain, who is a very likeable character with an abundance of knowledge about the area. It is situated within easy reach from Echo Point and The Three Sisters and is on the edge of The Blue Mountains, for easy... More

My partner and I spent a night at the Kurrara Historic Guest House during a two day visit of the Blue Mountains from Sydney. The house really has an old and authentic feel to it and one can tell that a lot of efforts have been put into preserving this. We contacted the hosts to inform them that we would... More

We only had two nights at Kurrara Guesthouse, and next time we visit will be sure to stay for longer. Iain and Evelyn are excellent hosts. The house has lots of character, and in addition to the bedrooms there are two lounges and a sunny breakfast room. Continental breakfast is included, and there are other nice touches such as a... It's a lovely old guest house with a rich history. The location is conveniently located near the Three Sisters lookout and the town centre. The rooms are nice but there is no closet space and this is reflected in the reasonable price for the accommodation. The wireless internet connection was fast and not an added cost. There was plenty for... More

We spent the long Cup weekend (3 nights) at Kurrara with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As mentioned by other reviewers, its a historic building filled with lovely old things, but comfortable and not tacky or tired. Iain is a fabulous host - suggested and booked us into consistently great restaurants for dinner (we had to keep upping the... More

We were a group of 9 (6 adults n 3 young kids). Iain and Evelyn were the kindest host, recommending good sights and food to visit around the region. They were also very accommodating to the young children in the group as it was a historic guesthouse, many items n furniture were vintage and breakable. We did our best to... More

Beautifully restored guest house Very comfortable clean rooms. Centrally heated on chilly mornings and evenings Ian is very helpful! Recommending restaurants for evening meals and even booked it for us! Continental breakfast was lovely and tea and cakes all day was a bonus! 10 minutes walk from the 3 sisters and some breathtaking walks. 15 mins from town Lovely place... More
