After looking at a number of expensive hotels to stay during school holidays, I found Kurrara to be reasonably priced and offer good value for money. The staff were very friendly, we really enjoyed the breakfasts on offer. The house feels like a home away from home, the couple are working on a few things to fix up eg paint... More

Had a wonderful time at this gorgeous guest house - made all the more memorable by the special touches that showed our hosts really did care. Whether it was complimentary tea and port in the rooms, or an amazing selection of DVDs, teas, cakes, cookies and chocolates on offer in the common room, this house had the atmosphere to make... We just loved the ambience of Kurrara, as well as the hospitality, breakfast (melt in the mouth croissants to die for in particular), the biscuits and cakes awaiting us on our return from a busy day touring and the evening Port we enjoyed with our friends in the lounges. The guest house is in walking distance from some amazing restaurants... More

Stayed overnight mid-week 11/12 June. We enjoyed a warm, inviting comfortable stay. Our room was cosy and our only concern was a lack of hanging and drawer space. But this was not a huge issue for a one-night stay. The recommended ' PINS on Lurline ' restaurant was a real treat. Best of all was the in-house breakfast, including freshly... More

This is a beautiful property, well kept, tastefully furnished and well managed. We felt very welcome and enjoyed not only our beautiful Blue Bell room (a little small but ok) with nice en-suite shower room and beautiful linen, but also the 2 lounges with great selection of tea, coffee, free port, seating area (possibility to even warm up some ready-made... A Victorian-styled white-washed cottage house came in view as we rounded the corner, complete with sky blue window frames and lacy translucent curtains fluttering on the inside of the house. Brownish red bricks lined the bottom half of the cottage, a stark contrast to the gentle white-blue colors. The cottage was partially shrouded behind bushes and trees which have seemed... More

Has booked Lurline House but due to some technical issue on booking.com, my booking with Lurline was not captured properly hence Lurline referred us to Kurrara House. Arrived at Kurrara Guest House with a heavy heart and felt worse when there were no one available to do our check in when we arrived at 3pm. Went for a scenic drive... More
