We stayed for 2 nights in one of the rooms at ground floor. The passion for details was impressive. They provided a baby bed which was easy to fit in the room. Short distance walk to the main street and to the Three Sisters Lookout. Would stay again and would recommend it to others.

A really charming guest house full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kurrara. Everything was perfect, no faults only praise. Our room was excellent and the breakfast arrangements superb. We would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending it to fellow travellers.

We have stayed at lots of places in Katoomba over the 50+ years. This time it was for a work trip and I needed something economical, including breakfast but that still looked comfortable and found Kurrara. I was delighted when I arrived - it is a beautiful old building, but it is what is inside that made it special. It... More

We were made to feel very welcome for our brief stay. Lovely old building with character. Good location for exploring town, seeing sights or being en route to further afield as we were. Would stay again, and would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed at Kurrara Historic Guest House on the way to Jenolan Caves, a real treat From the moment we arrived the stay was great, the quick run through the facilities was a nice touch, the room was excellent, you could't eat all of the spread put on for breakfast, super friendly staff, quite, easy walk to the main street... Lovely, friendly place to stay. We were very late in arriving, and instructions and helpfulness of staff to get in couldn't be bettered. Guest house is very quaint and charming. Only stayed two nights, but enjoyed it. Short walk to three sisters, and slightly longer walk into town, but still only about 20mins. Breakfast was good. Our bed even had... More

This was a lovely comfortable guesthouse with an excellent breakfast buffet. Well located and with quality beds and linen. Friendly staff. We only stayed for one night but wished it could have been longer.

We spent three wonderful nights at Kurrara Guest House in March. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean, quiet and cosy. The whole atmosphere was like being taken back to a time of elegance and charm. Well done. Will certainly recommend and will stay again. Margaret and Peter

A wonderful, relaxing stay in a charming old guesthouse, good service and very clean ,with lots of nice treats and a excellent breakfast. Our host did a marvellous job and would thoroughly recommend a stay at this historic house in a lovely quiet area of Katoomba. Walking distance to restaurants and a safe area to park your car.

A lovely old house with plenty of character but unfortunately our stay was ruined by the owner Iain in the morning when we went down for breakfast, which begins at 8am. We opened the door to the breakfast room at 8.10 (was unlocked), and went to make a cup of tea. The labret came out from the kitchen area and... More
