Having wonderful memories of the Rooster in its heyday, I went for lunch at this restaurant with a fair size group of friends. The ambience was just as lovely as I remembered, and has been commented upon by other reviewers. To make things a bit easier it was suggested we pre-order , the week prior, which we did. We all... Add to this spectacular views of the Jamieson valley and you have the foundation of a very special experience, When you add a superb French chef - thank you Jessica for the best French meal we have eaten - friendly young French staff and lovely... Spent 2 wonderful nights at the Jamison Guest House, Katoomba. Have to say this is the best B & B we have ever stayed in! New owners Monique & Ross made us very welcome and we felt like we had spent a weekend in France! - For breakfast - wonderful freshly baked baguettes, oven baked eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice... The Jamison Guesthouse is in a lovely location and is very quiet for those wanting a good sleep. Our room had an elegant layout and furnishing. The bathroom was very large and clean. The view of the Jamison Valley from Room 4 was spectacular. Breakfast on a tray was very good, as described below, and can be taken on an enclosed... More

We loved this boutique guesthouse.Well deserving of its acclaim and our own accolades. Each of the four bedrooms are decorated in turn-of -the-century elegance,four-poster beds and all mod cons. Breakfast was served on our enclosed balcony overlooking the superb captivating landscape below and beyond. We stayed on a two-night special. All the walking, needs time and this excellent abode served us... More

Everything about this property is magnificent. We were very late arriving due to a delayed flight and did not arrive at the restaurant until 8.15pm. Not a bother to Alex our waiter the Chef and Michael. We still had the full menu and the food was to die for. The ambiance of the room was exactly as we had hoped... More

My husband and I happened upon the Jamison House after it was booked for us by the tourist bureau at Echo Point and we were thrilled with their choice. Not only is this beautiful little property located with sweeping views of the valley, it is quaint, charming and cozy, and we stayed even longer than planned. Our room was fabulous... More

Clean, airy, spacious rooms overlooking the stunning Blue Mountains. Friendly, helpful staff who are present but provide space to guests. Comfortable sitting room with enormous veranda with tables for (self-catered) breakfast. Food for breakfast delivered daily, fresh to each room. Wonderful French restaurant with fabulous wine list on ground floor. Sound perfect? It is. We booked into the Jamison for... More
