A stroll up the hill brings you the blue mountains, a perfect location. just like a house your gran might live in a just as warm and welcoming! The linen was well kept and the kitchen facilities were nice to use making your own food. The local town has lovely restaurants

To celebrate my birthday and the end of exams my boyfriend and I decided to have a weekend in the mountains. As a student and backpacker, we were cautious that we didn't want to spend too much but were keen to treat ourselves to a lovely B&B and enjoy our weekend. After a long search I finally found Ballykissangel and... More

We stayed at the Green room in Ballykissangel B&B in June 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean and the bathroom was really, really nice. The room was a great size and the bed was comfortable and the real log fire - perfect! We liked having the extra bed in the room - great to... More

We had a lovely spacious room and a bathroom with a spa bath (shower over bath rather than separate). This is not the traditional b & b in that the owner, Maureen, provides the requisites for a light breakfast in the fridge in the guest kitchen and you then make it yourself. We liked this arrangement because the kitchen was... More

I just want to say, I took my fiance away to the blue mountains for his birthday, and I booked in this cute little B&B - what a treasure. The land lord is Irish and so charming. We felt right at home! Each room has a Spa bath - which is sooo romantic... fill the massive tub to the brim... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night while hiking in the Blue Mountains. The owner, Maureen, offered to pick us up from the train station but I thought it would be better to walk to get to see the town...word of advice: if you have heavy luggage, have Maureen pick you up. It's only about a 20 minute walk... More

The rooms are extreemley clean, comfortable and large, we had a sofa in ours, a real home from home. Breakfast is continental style with all the makings left in your own part of the kitchen, so you can come and go as you please. It is located a short walk from echo point and the town centre. Maureen was very... More

my husband and child travelled with me to Katoomba earlier this year. We stayed at ballykissangel after recommendations from several friends. We were extremely impressed with the classic beauty and quality of the rooms. The host, Maureen was friendly, and so very accomodating to our needs, whilst allowing us room to enjoy everything as if it was our own. I... More

We stayed one night at Ballykissangel while we were hiking in the Blue Mountains. It was a lovely place to stay. The bedroom and bathroom are freshly redone, comfortable and spacious. The owner, Maureen, is a gracious hostess who wants to make sure you are comfortable and have all that you need. She provides a central area with refrigerator, supplies... More

I stayed at the B&B with my Mum for a night whilst visiting the Blue Mountains. I contacted Maureen, the landlady, directly by email and there were no problems with the reservation what so ever. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome and felt homely straight away. The bedroom was lovely, large and beautifully furnished and the ensuite was... More
