We stayed here for our anniversary. However there was a price difference between the room we booked due to a mis communication , this was sorted out immediately and we were provided with an upgrade which is very professional. Friendly staff at the reception. Beds were so comfortable and rooms were clean. Service at the restaurant can be improved didn't... More

I booked my husband and I in to the Valley View suite to celebrate his 50th birthday. Although the room was clean and spacious, it didn't really have any character that the photos on their website lead you to believe is there. The fireplace, which is depicted on the photo of the room as a lovely big open fire, turned... More

It is often said the smaller touches make the difference. We booked in for a corporate meeting followed by dinner, our table had personal menus with our company logo and the table was marked by a sign with the latest picture from a new Facebook post from our site, talk about service with the latest attention to detail. It is... More

We were delighted by our large corner room with views over the town and valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bit of a hassle getting luggage to our room (up or down stairs and no assistance available) and parking is not very convenient and out in the weather. Great lounge and bar area with real fireplacesWe would have loved... More

Dear WendyJ Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of your stay with us. Yes, unfortunately we do not have an underground car park. It seems we missed you with your luggage, we do provide this service, and I apologise that no-one was on hand to assist. It is encouraging that you enjoyed your room, the views,... More

We stopped overnight and found this to be a charming old Hotel. Old in a great way too, they clearly care very much about the place the maintenance was fantastic and very impressive. It was a short walk to restaurants nearby and breakfast the next day was fine. We would recommend for a lovely piece of historic Blue Mountains charm.

We only stayed for 1 night in the heritage room It suited us compared to getting a budget hotel Not sure I would stay there for too long as the room was small It has lovely views the resort The wi fi was annoying as you needed to keep getting a code Which only lasted you 4 hours

Dear dancingabi Thank you for your review. Our lovely Heritage Rooms, are definitely a better choice than a budget motel, and whilst they do not enjoy the views from the front of the building, the lounges, cocktail bar and restaurant certainly do make up for that. Our free wifi does log you out after 15 minutes of non use, but... More

It was a beautiful fresh & cold weekend in the mountains and we were looking forward to being healthy and going for a hike on the sunday. Unfortunately the heating ran so high in the hotel room I woke feeling quite ill. We turned the room heating off before we went to dinner and opened the windows but the general... More

Dear Trav_elle_Sydney Thank you for your comments, we are very pleased you enjoyed our Blue Mountains chic retreat. The fires and cosy lounges are indeed just the trick for a wintery Blue Mountains escape. Our room heaters are temperature adjustable, and we recommend to leave them on around 22 degrees which keeps the room warm, but not too hot, overnight.... More

Stayed for the weekend August 2014. Peaceful and old charm was refreshing. Staff were amazing and professional. We had a Balcony fire place room. Very nice. Bed was confortable but furnishings a little old. I had a 6 hour spa treatment at Sublime. It was amazing! Standard of many international spas. 5/5! Food was very ordinay. Un remakable.

Very friendly staff, lots of charm and only 90 mins from Sydney. Parking can be challenging if you arrive late on a weekend evening. However the team at reception helped us find a spot as we arrived late. Children are accommodated without any problems.
