The scene shown of the dining room over the valley is real, we enjoyed a romantic dinner at this table. Food was beautiful and service friendly but not intrusive. Continental breakfast was substantial. Room looking over the valley was reasonable size, clean, well serviced and very comfortable for our 4 days. We have stayed here as a mature couple several... It was only an over night stop but we left well fed and rested. The ambience in the lounge area and restaurant is conducive to a relaxing stay and the staff are lovely. We'd love to return in winter to enjoy the open fires.

It was 19 years since we last stayed at Mountain Heritage. We really enjoyed it back in 1996 and we were not the least bit disappointed this time. A room with a view over the town, and into the distance, is worth the extra dollars. However, even though it was summer, on our last morning fog obscured the view. It's not... More

Dear PithHelmet Thank you for your wonderful feedback. Yes, it is good advice to choose one of our very popular "view" rooms, it makes the stay just that little more special. I will share your comments with our staff, who love to hear such great comments from our guests. We hope it is not another 19 years before your next... More

We stayed here in December as part of our honeymoon in the Blue Mountains. The hotel has a wonderful old world charm and the view from the bedroom and the dining room was just spectacular. We dined once in the restaurant and were really impressed with the quality of the food. There's a nicely equipped little gym which allowed us... More

Beautiful old building. Lovely room, not soundproofed obviously- next doors shower was very loud- but even with a wedding on in the ballroom it was fairly quiet. The bed was super comfy. View from the room was exquisite. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The only con was the lack of parking due to the wedding- a bit annoying but no... More

Dear Lori D Thank you for your feedback. Glad you like our historic old building which has been operating as a guest house for 106 years. Yes the views from the front rooms are exquisite, as they are indeed from the lounge, cocktail bar and our restaurant. We did have a car park monitor during the evening, to help minimise... More

Spent a lovley evening here at the end of December. The room was lovely, light airy and spacious. We would have had great views had the weather been better (too misty). Before dinner we sat in the bar area and listened to the resident piano player, which was a real treat. We ate in the restaurant that night and the... More

Stayed here on new years eve for something different as we were looking for a quite get away just for the night to bring in the new year. Booked at 7pm and Tina provided a pleasant booking process despite the property being busy and made a reservation for us at the restaurant. We arrived just after 8 not really knowing... More

Felt it fair to presume that when visiting the Blue Mountains and paying a hotel (named the Mountain Heritage no less) a couple hundred dollars a night, that from the room window I would be looking at something other than a concrete slab and air conditioning ducts. Alas, wasn't the case. When expressed my dissatisfaction I was told we could... More

Dear TAAW77 Unfortunately we were unable to give you a free upgrade. You conceded during our conversation that you had obviously not booked a room with a valley view. We did however, upgrade you for a discount price, even though you were already paying a discount price for a standard room. We do the best we can to look after... More
