My daughters took me to the Mountain Heritage as a 50th birthday surprise. The service was wonderful, the rooms were amazing and the adjacent spa was sublime. Located close to Echo Point, perched on the hill looking out over the gorge, the location was perfect.

To begin a very special thank you to Tina, on reception who went all out to rectify a small glitch in our reservations, which led to a most enjoyable stay in this comfortable, historic property. The Mountain Heritage is way ahead of the other such hotels in the Blue Mountains, it is clean with modern facilities compared to our "walk... More

The service was wonderful. The staff kindly gave me an upgrade for my first night alone without my children! The room was beautiful. Drinks at the cocktail bar were very nice and the pianist was lovely. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We loved the location and how old the hotel was , very antique looking. We just didn't like when the they rang our room to tell us we had to check exactly 11.00 am . They could of at least Gave us 15min after before they kick us out. Lol

Lovely heritage room, large and appropriately fitted out. Guest House heritage meant some stairs between sections of the hotel. Great views and easy walk to Katoomba main street. Plenty of parking. Stayed with other couples with no complaints although bar prices a little higher than expected. Continental breakfast was OK, cooked was just $3 extra and very good value.

We went as a couple for a romantic get away and couldn't have asked for more. The hotel is located at the top of a hill, oozing with old world charm and plenty of history. The hotel was built in 1908 as a grand temperance hotel, as the area was being opened up to Sydney visitors. It had a rocky time in parts of the 20th century, but has recently been carefully restored, maintaining a lot of the Art Deco style. The décor throws back to the early 20th century as does the ambiance, both... More

The hotel staff were excellent in their attentiveness and forethought. A conference party were booked at the same time as us for dinner, the restaurant rang to suggest an earlier entrance and a window table with a view. Wow!

Hotel was welcoming, rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and the views were amazing. It was also an easy walk to the Main Street of Katoomba.
