Hi Starfruitmt Thanks for your review and sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Just to let you know, since you stayed YHA has launched a free wifi hotspot at all our big hostels and that will be extended to the rest of the network during this year. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Australia. More

Good location near supermarkets and shops, a short walk down the hill from the train station, not too far of a walk away from hiking options, staff were friendly and helpful with things to do around town. Kitchen was spacious with lots of pots / pans / utensils, although I didn't like the fact it closed in the nighttime which... More

Hi jebskulker Thanks for the review and just an update on some stuff that has changed since you stayed with us a year ago. The kitchen is now open 24 hours, but after the final clean of the day, the gas cook points are off overnight to keep it clean for people up and having breakfast early. Microwaves, kettle, fridge... Staying at this the yha was a very good experience! With affordable prices we received working facilities, clean rooms and very friendly service! We were welcomed and met many new people during the experience. The location was also perfect. Could not recommend staying here more! Thanks rob and the yha team!!

Booked in a group of 5 in double and single bunk rooms with ensuite. Two of my friends haven't been to hostels before. I think they were ok with this experience. Friendly staff. Minor issue that one room wasn't done up when we arrived but fixed easy enough. Heaters and funky old building with character. Lots of families not much... More

The hostel is quite nice overall, informative etc. but some things can be improved and here is my feedback. First , the female dorm I have booked suddenly became a mixed dorm as a couple was forced to move in my room . Nobody told me that and most importantly , I didn't get what I paid for , a... More

Hi Enigami Thanks for your feedback - we value guest info on their stay. We're sorry there were issues with your room. If that does ever happen again, please make sure to ask to speak to the manager. YHA always offer single sex dorms as we know our guests like that. Customer service is really important to us so the... More

We've stayed here twice, most recently the Easter long weekend. Both times we've had a room with a private bathroom, which makes it much like a 3-star hotel (minus the in-room and restaurant dining). I've given it a very good - which it is for a YHA. The rooms are clean, the bedding is provided and our room was made... More

Lovely Central hostel, friendly and helpful staff with a good range of communal facilities. Supermarket around the corner and 20 minute easy walk to the 3 sisters. Plenty of hiking options available an all round great place to stay in the magical Blue Mountains

We stayed here during the music festival, and although it was full the whole place was so clean and tidy, well done to the cleaning staff, the people on the desk were very friendly but seemed a little swamped, I have to say this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in.
