I loved The Carrington, it isdefinitely one of the most charming hotels I've ever stayed at. The wide hallaways, the spacious rooms, the vintage decor, the different rooms for every activity you can imagine... I think the best way to describe it is saying that the moment you enter The Carrington you feel you walk into another era, where you... More

We used a cudo voucher to visit this beautiful hotel for two nights. Breakfast was included. We were treated wonderfully and were made welcome from check in until our departure. It is a beautiful old hotel with great ambience. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was excellent. Loved it all.

We were on a bus tour from our ship, on the way to the Blue Mountains. We stopped here for a wonderful lunch prepared for our group. We ate in a beautiful old grand ballroom/dining room. This is a historic hotel, that is very well kept up inside and the beautiful grounds outside. It was a highlight of our tour.

We decided on a short break in Katoomba and chose The Carrington as we had heard it had been recently renovated. What a lovely hotel. Our room was very spacious, the giant king bed was very comfortable and had a lovely view towards Echo Point. The décor was in keeping with the age of the hotel. We loved the common... More

This is a grand old lady of a hotel, old and historic but well maintained and in great shape. Set at what must be the highest point of the town of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains it is central to shops and restaurants. It's a short drive or longer walk to scenic landmarks like Echo Point and the Three Sisters.... More

Very laid back weekend, even though the hotel was quite busy.. Everyone friendly and enjoying themselves. The Carrington is centrally located with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. A wonderful escape from the city and the salmon served is delish.

Visited for the weekend, apprehensive about shared bathroom but wanting to experience tradition stay. Room was large and tastefully decorated, the shared bathroom not the problems I envisaged but they were a little dated and in need of repair. I hope they keep the concept & renovate. The bar, restaurant wall all and more than expected. Visit marred by some rowdy patrons... More

My daughter (9) and I stayed the night and had high tea. The ladies at front desk were very nice on check in and check out. The room was pleasant, extremely warm (we opened the window - though the view was just over the roof). We stayed in traditional room with shared bathroom which was fine. I am sure other... More

We previously stayed at The Carrington in 2013 then again last week - this time in a Balcony Room. The room was as per the hotel spec and we were satisfied with the room and the arrangements. The real attraction to staying at The Carrington is the location and the facilities. Genuine old world charm much appreciated by most guests.... More
