My husband and I stayed in the studio room for 2 nights which has it's own entrance so not to disturb anyone if you come home late at night. The hosts, Jenny and Paul, have thought of all the comforts you may need and breakfast was great. It is a lovely home and a beautiful area with a short walk... More

Jenny is delightful and her B & B is really nice. We had a room with a sitting room and a spa bath which was a treat. The bed and linens are wonderful. It is private here and you fix your own breakfast that she provides in the fridge. If you are staying longer you could fix lunch as well.

This B&B has it all! Friendly, helpful hosts, Jenny & Paul. Beautifully decorated and comfortable suites. Delicious, made-to-order breakfasts, delivered to your room when you want. Great location, a 10-15 minute walk to Scenic World and Echo Point lookout, as well as to downtown Katoomba. A very relaxing, romantic place to stay in the Blue Mountains.

I stayed here for New Years and from the moment I arrived, I felt as though I was staying with old friends. Jenny and Paul are lovely hosts, not intrusive but helpful with any queries. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bed comfortable. There was a little deck off the sitting room, where I was able to enjoy breakfast.... More

Paul and I appreciate your lovely comments and we are glad you enjoyed our hospitality. It is unfortunate not everyone has manners and yes being an older house loud noises will be heard but it is not very often we have noisy guests as our guests are here to enjoy the beautiful Blue Mountains and peaceful surroundings like you. We stayed at the Shelton-Lea while visiting the Blue Mountains. We were also celebrating our wedding anniversary. The property and gardens are amazing. We were upgraded, and the suite we had, had a separate entrance. It was so cosy. The bed super comfy, the bathroom had a spa tub. The kitchen had everything you needed and was stocked with food... We stayed in the middle of December for 3 nights and could not have had a better experience. Initially we had booked for two nights but had to extend our stay due to car troubles. Paul and Jenny were welcoming and straight away managed to book us in for an extra night, which saved us from having to move all... More

While most travellers would opt to stay in hotels or motels at the Blue Mountains, we stayed at Shelton-Lea B&B for one night, which was a wise decision. It is strategically located on a quiet street at 159 Lurline Street, Blue Mountains, which is about 20 minutes stroll from Katoomba train station and town. There is also a hop-on-hop-off bus... We had the most incredible time here ... A lovely suite with a proper fireplace in the sitting room and a host of amazingly thoughtful touches.. ... Be it the port, the chocolates or the well stocked mini fridge :) We only stayed a night but wished we could have stayed longer as the location was marvelous ( could walk... More
