We first stayed at Hotel Blue in June this year and were greeted by friendly staff. Our room with double bed was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the "olde world" atmosphere and while some areas are probably in the process of renovation, the dining room has been renewed and the bar there and light fittings are well presented. On site... More

Booked this place as all of blue mountains was totally packed. Was the only place to accommodate my husband, 22 mth old son and I with a king size bed. Hotel is dated and needs a Reno. Our room was standard, bed was good but the bathroom was terrible and had no mirror. The television had really bad reception so... More

Having just stayed at Hotel Blue first weekend in July 2014 and having read the adjacent comments I am encouraged to add this new advice. Yes the premises are very old and worn, however I must say my wife and I did not mind. We stayed for two nights with seven friends and had a great time. I think there... More

This hotel is disappointing and desperately needs new decor. Everything seems tired and old. It would be possible to have new décor and still retain the 1920s theme - it doesn't have to actually be from the 1920s!. It could also benefit from better heating in the rooms. One of the big bug bears was cold food. Breakfast was included... More

What can I say! Bad from the start-old dated room, cold, dusty, in desperate need of a refurb. A neon light shining in all night with no sufficient blinds, hard uncomfortable bed. On waking a breakfast buffet with limited choice and none left of anything with an hour to go followed by no hot water in our room. After speaking... More

Being a well traveled couple in our 30's we have stayed in some fantastic hotels, some quirky family run B&B's and the odd hostel or two, each have been fun, most have been good value for money but none have left us feeling ripped off, frustrated and annoyed. We turned up to hotel blue greeted by a friendly receptionist, looking... More

Affordable for an overnight stay. Decorative 1920's era interior!! Our room was too close to the noise of the kitchen and the water gushing down the pipe from upstairs kept us awake most of the night.

The photos on their website do not reflect the room we stayed in ( room 18). It was tiny, dusty, with stained walls and carpet, peeling wallpaper , paper thin walls and the squeekiest door in history. The theme of the hotel is 1920s and I think 1920 was the the last time they decorated that room. The breakfast was... More

Great location, attentive staff, excellent restaurant, clean comfortable rooms. Loving the fireplace in middle of winter. Room heater was switched on when we checked into the room, which was a lovely touch. Will definitely return.

Stayed there for 2 nights ..It is unique, clean and friendly Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and then went to the living area where this is a fire place and friendly little bar...We loved it... Its Quaint affordable and I would recommend a weekend getaway...
