I had the King room.... it was clean and the bed was comfy, the shower had a reasonable pressure even though the shower head was one of those that you need to dance under before you can get wet. The place is a bit old but still has charm. The food is GREAT - breakfast was included in the room... More

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Blue over the Valentine's weekend. The inside public spaces are charming and definitely have a 1920s feel. The staff were very friendly and attentive:) there are two lovely coffee shops, one downstairs and one across the road. Awesome location for hiking. Filling and tasty hot breakfasts with French press coffee. The downsides: the... More

Hotel Blue was an all round wonderful experience. Myself and a bunch of other PhD students came here for a retreat in the mountains, and are so happy we did! The conference room we booked was fantastic, plenty of table space, chairs, whiteboard, and pens and paper provided. Our bedrooms were all comfortable and tidy. What we raved the most... More

This beautiful old building could tell many a tale, its takes you back to a bygone era. The rooms are clean, comfy and well equipped with a bed better than majority top end places and a choice of pillows. The main lounge is a decadent lounging space to read, chat, play sip and nibble. The staff are friendly and happy... More

Hotel Blue is a hotel that is really ornate and quaint. Located just 20 minutes walk to Echo Point where the "3 Sisters" are in best view from a height and distance. It is family run and the staff is very helpful with the extra mile to make your stay like a home guest. The bed is so very comfortable... More

I loved staying at this hotel. The room had a lovely view and the public rooms were extensive and charming. The main lounge had some wonderful furniture, and it was a real pleasure sitting there having a quiet (and very reasonably priced) drink while doing some work on my laptop. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - the... More

This hotel is described as a "1920's -style boutique hotel" and it would appear that if you have enough old fashioned furniture and plenty of musty smells permeating the establishment, then you're on your way! Quite honestly we found this place to be just a sad and tired OLD hotel. The service was alright I guess, but WIRE coat hangers... More

Ive stayed in this hotel about 4 times in the last 3-4 years. The first time the service was fantastic and the staff very friendly and welcoming but the building was in dire need of refurbishment. Each visit since the staff are still fantastic and the builiding has been slowly renovated and improved each time. Good : Greatly improved rooms,... More

This is a terrible hotel. So old fashioned completely different from the photos on the internet ! Bathroom was awful as well Defiantly would Never go back ! For the money paid defiantly not worth it. The receptionist laughed and was rude when we told her our room was to hot as there is no air conditioning !

This was our second visit to this gorgeous 1930s / 40s hotel. Second time around was disappointing in that this time we stayed two nights instead of just one - and the room was not serviced at all after our first night! (Well apparently it was, but not that you could tell!!) Towels were not changed (apparently we were meant... More

Dear Gillian, It was a pleasure to have you stay with us again recently - it is always lovely to see our guests returning for another visit. We are disappointed to hear that you were dissatisfied with the way your room was serviced by our housekeeping staff. For the benefit of TripAdvisor readers, I must emphasise that the system of...
