Do yourself a favour and don't book this place. The wallpaper is mouldy, the carpet is stained the fixtures are broken and the walls are paper thin. The hotel has a 1920s theme but i doubt it has ever had any maintaince since then.

I booked this hotel and then asked for a refund as I had some health issues and was not supposed to travel. They would not refund, so I went anyway. Oh FYI a relative of mine works in hotels and this is actually unlawful practice. I found a dirty sock in my room, tampon wrapper, and hair in the drain of... More

Hotel has plenty of character and charm and is centrally located in katoomba. Has a couple of common rooms to relax in,a good selection of beers. The restaurant has great food. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and helped make our stay a memorable one.

My husband and I have just returned with our grandson from the Blue Mountains where we celebrated his 11th birthday. Hotel Blue was a great spot to stay with pre-teen children as there is a pool table and several chess sets, while for adults there is the Parlour Bar and an open fire. The staff were incredibly friendly right from... More

Nostalgic and comfortable in a conveneint location a short walk from the Katoomba main street, adjacent to the RSL and a great coffee shop, and a slightly longer stroll to Echo Point. Some might call this old girl dated, but more I think would call her charming. I liked the open fire, net pocketed pool table in the lounge, and... More

Hello, I organised a Host a Murder night for 20 guests at the stylish Hotel Blue for my Daughter's 18th Birthday. I was the most wonderfully memorable night for everyone. The meal was absolutely 1st class and great sized portions for the men! Chris & Louise are the loveliest couple who went out of their way to help with all... More

A relaxing oldie worldie style hotel/motel the blue gave us the feeling of being comfortable and well looked after. Almost like staying with your oldest and dearest family friends or so. The staff and other guests all seemed happy, which means you enjoy it even more. And you are right in the middle of everything in Katoomba. The setting is... More

We first stayed at Hotel Blue in June this year and were greeted by friendly staff. Our room with double bed was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the "olde world" atmosphere and while some areas are probably in the process of renovation, the dining room has been renewed and the bar there and light fittings are well presented. On site... More

Booked this place as all of blue mountains was totally packed. Was the only place to accommodate my husband, 22 mth old son and I with a king size bed. Hotel is dated and needs a Reno. Our room was standard, bed was good but the bathroom was terrible and had no mirror. The television had really bad reception so... More
