We stayed here for one night . It was so homely and had everything you need . There was a lounge area , cocktail bar and dining area . The staff couldn't be more accommodating and add very chatty and cheerful . The rooms were clean and the guest house is close to everything . Breakfast was nice and the... More

My wife and I have just end stayed two nights at the Clarendon, in their motel rooms. They are extremely comfortable with ensuite shower room, fridge, air con etc. bed was extremely comfortable. They provided a simple continental breakfast, which was basic but worthwhile to set you up for the day. The Clarendon is well sited for all the local... More

It`s just a small room but it`s allright, a bit old but that is the same all over Katoomba I think. I had a good stay here, most of the day I was exploring the town and the Blue Mountains anyway so basically you only go back to the room at the end of the day. Good location, pretty close... More

Package of 3 course meal, show, bed and continental breakfast. The dining tables were straight from Bunnings but the quality of the meal was very good. The venue for listening to live music was intimate and this made the night very enjoyable. The ensuited rooms were basic but comfortable. Our overall experience was very positive. The guesthouse is old but... More

We stayed at The Clarendon 10 years ago and thought it was fantastic so we didn't hesitate to book it when we saw it was available. We were very disappointed this time. It has really gone downhill. The heating in the rooms was not working. There is a beautiful big fireplace in the lounge but it was unlit and the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed the 2 nights in their guest house room, although not like the pictures, it was clean and warm. Could do with a bit more maintenance (eg. curtains) but overall it was pleasant.

Stayed last night and had dinner and show package. Room was freezing with only old electric bar type heater on wall near floor which gave very little heat. No electric blankets. The open fires in the lounge and bar were not lit until late and gave out very poor heat. Show and dinner were okay although meager portions but had... More

We stayed for one night for 2 people at the Clarendon, when we checked in they had booked us into the wrong room. When they realised, they changed us from a 2 bedded room to 1 bedded room without lowering the price. When we opened the door, the room was NOTHING like in the photos on the website. The room... This will teach us to check Trip Advisor before checking in. We were visiting Blue Mountains, and weather was getting bad, so didn't want to travel back to Sydney. We stopped at one hotel, but no vacancy. They suggested The Clarendon, as "they have shows"! Well our poor luck, they had a vacancy. ( we should have taken note that... More
