We have just returned from a 3 night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. The town was celebrating the anniversary of Jindabyne and we even had the Governor in town and in attendance at a function. The view from our unit was superb, the staff very helpful and the general atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. We would recommend Rydges Jindabyne.

It has to be said that arriving in Jindabyne was one of the most breath-taking views in a motorbike trip where the standard of scenery was so high - it practically slapped you in the face! And this hotel perfectly capped that feeling. The staff were brilliant. Extremely welcoming, great at making recommendations for where to go in town (though... More

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with this hotel. We had a deluxe room, but there was nothing deluxe about it! We stayed on a Sunday and when we went to check in no one was about! We searched the restaurant, pool etc and couldn't find anyone for about 10 minutes! Room was very average (paid $160), the view was nice... More

Luckily the location must be keeping Rydges afloat because nothing about the rooms would do it, the most expensive room from a 3 week trip and the biggest disappointment. After walking down 3 flights of stairs with luggage to what seemed like a cellar we entered the most dismal room. The balcony and outdoor chairs were filthy and the kitchen... More

Very nice location, good service and very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with nice service. Gorgeous lookout to the lake from your window. Free wifi. Good equipped interiors including washing machine and dryer. Good possibility to relax and retreat from long journey.

Room was ok? Really overdue for a re-fit. Very 80's decor and poorly maintained. How hard can it be for room service to check light globes every day? Dishwasher not working and residue from previous occupants still inside. Yuk! Hairdryer safety certificate long expired. Not good. We have notified NSW Workcover as this could cost someone their life. Again, how... More

After booking a standard room,on arrival we were upgraded to a deluxe room which was a nice surprise for us.. I would hate to see a standard room given the tired state of this upgraded deluxe room. The tired looking room, in desperate need of an update, had water damage in the ceiling, no rubbish bin, all pictures had been... More

I had to remind the front desk I had asked for a lake view room, this was after being given a different room, the little TV hummed so loud it was louder than the volume and the bed is very old and hard!

We had a great couple of days at the Rydges. The kids loved the pool and buffet breakfast every morning. And the accommodation was comfortable in the 2 bedroom villas. We only did a day trip to the snow but I imagine a 5 day break would be just as good. The most impressive thing was that after our day... More
