I agree totally with the other positive reviewers of this accommodation. Breakfast (cooked) was generous, and included in the room price. The lounge area facilities were great, especially for families. The hosts/owners are great at what they do, which is really all about making you FEEL welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended.

A fabulous find close to the ski fields. The Aalberg Chalet was a comfortable and clean lodge with welcoming hosts. A substantial breakfast was on offer and even though evening meals in the restaurant had finished for the season Lindsay made some great pizzas to feed all the guests. Overall a great weekend: good spring skiing and great value accommodation.... More

We booked the Aalberg randomly on the net because they accepted one night bookings - we didn't expect too much. However we loved it & will stay again for our next ski trip. They have a great lounge area, billiard table and bar + a restaurant. No need to leave the place which is great when exhausted after a day... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and exceptionally friendly chalet and considering the price, I would say this is easily the best value in Jindabyne. Not only were the rooms meticulously clean, the breakfast hearty and well-prepared, but the best part was the attention of the staff. From the owner's very comprehensive knowledge of the local area (down... More

We stayed at the Aalberg due to the great reviews on Trip Adviser and we were not disappointed. A family of 4 on their first trip to the snow, we had an amazing time thanks to the fresh snow and our wonderful accommodation and very helpful hosts. A never ending source of great advice, smiles and assistance – the breakfast... More

Have stayed at Aalberg several times on ski trips to Perisher. Accommodation is good value and the rooms, while simply furnished, are clean, comfortable and warm. A hearty cooked breakfast is included and a reasonably priced dinner available during the ski season. The is also a small bar. Staff are friendly and helpful. Added bonus is single night bookings are... More

We loved our 2 night stay. We booked a family room. It was clean , warm and comfortable. The rooms were not huge but there is an amazing 'lounge' room for all to enjoy with lounges, games, books, computers and computer games. Good location close to shops, food was home cooked, delicious and plentiful. There was a small friendly bar... More

Will definitely stay at the Aalberg Chalet again. Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Lindsay and Ulla were the perfect hosts. Extremely friendly, pleasant and welcoming. Stayed for two nights with my husband and teenage daughter in a warm, good sized room. There is a nice little bar area to have a drink before dinner and a... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were a little disappointed with the size of the room as the bathroom door couldn't open all of the way without hitting the bed so we had to squeeze through. Other than this though we were really pleased. The food was great and just what you want when finishing a... More
