Will definitely stay at the Aalberg Chalet again. Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Lindsay and Ulla were the perfect hosts. Extremely friendly, pleasant and welcoming. Stayed for two nights with my husband and teenage daughter in a warm, good sized room. There is a nice little bar area to have a drink before dinner and a... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were a little disappointed with the size of the room as the bathroom door couldn't open all of the way without hitting the bed so we had to squeeze through. Other than this though we were really pleased. The food was great and just what you want when finishing a... More

Stayed just a single night at Aalberg Chalet for a couple of days skiing. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well heated and the one we stayed in quite spacious. There was some inter-room noise, which could have been particular to the room (Room 2), and the bed was a tad hard for me. I... More

Stayed with a friend on 18 August. Very well kept place and the hosts were very nice. I initially found it on last minute.com but then called up as I needed to confirm the room configuration as two single beds. The manager was very helpful in arranging this. Hot breakfast in the morning was very nice, with hot chocolate on... More

Our family recently spent a week at the Aalberg Chalet in Jindabyne. It was the kids first time to the snow so we wanted a great snow holiday experience! On a friends recommendation we chose to stay at the Aalberg In Jindabyne instead of on-snow and we're glad we did. After meeting Ulla and Lindsay on check in, we knew... More

Wonderful and very helpful owners. Room is clean and comfy and has been pleasantly upgraded to a bigger room sleeping four. Kitchenette was handy and comes with fridge and microwave apart from tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is good; hot meals, cereals and juice which is just right before skiing. Have enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.... More

Spent a wonderful week at the Aalberg in July 2014. Such a friendly, family-run chalet, with plenty of smiles and ski advice to be found. Clean, comfortable and toasty warm rooms. Lovely lounge room and bar to relax in before the optional dinner. We tried the dinner once and immediately signed up to have the remainder of our meals at... More

We have just finished a four day stay at the Aalberg and absolutely loved it. It was our second holiday there - we stayed in 2012 and were really happy to find the Aalberg as welcoming and warm now as it was then. The food is hearty and delicious - perfect after an energetic day on the slopes. The rooms... More

Our family returned last week to the warmth and comfort of the Aalberg. What welcomed us was the friendly smile and welcoming environment created by the owners Lindsay & Ulla. They quickly helped us get settled and reported on the best adventures our family will have for the week. Lindsay shared his infectious enthusiasm for the season so far and... More

The Aalberg is run by Lindsay and Ulla and their handsome sons who are the perfect hosts. We had a wonderful school holiday week in July 2014 for 5 nights with 3 families with children from 6 to 16 who all had something to keep them happy and entertained and well fed after long days on the slopes. Wiii for... More
