I enjoyed a spring-time stay in Jindabyne's Alpine Resort Motel. I had a quiet and comfortable room, with a view overlooking the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a pleasant, relaxed feel to the place because, I guess, it was out of season and there were only a few guests. The motel is within a few... More

We stayed in a budget deluxe room for 4 nights during the snow season and the experience was generally acceptable, (rooms were neat and tidy, bathrooms were well appointed) however the rooms have very thin walls and you can hear the conversations and TVs of neighbouring rooms at all hours of the day/night. Garbage disposal was an issue with the... More

My partner and I spent 2 nights here on a ski getaway weekend. The positives were the decent sized ,warm room with newly renovated bathroom and the location, which was about 15mins walk into the centre of town. The negatives were the ridiculously uncomfortable bed and pillows, the level of noise travel between rooms, the very basic breakfast and the... More

My husbund and I were the for 1 night and we love it! Very warm to protect against the cold, everything really clean, great brekky, great view! It's a simple place, but got everything that you need. The only thing I could complain, its about the noise that come through the walls. We would come back for sure!

Paid $265/night on weekend for "budget" and was very shock how basic - no shampoo, tiny TV, no ensuite heating, no hairdryer, noisy ++ due to poor sound proof +bus load of school children. Better deals else where.

We 4 stayed for a weekend and found the room a little cramped but it had everything we needed including a bright clean bath/shower room, hanging space, and a view of Lake Jindabyne. The owner is extending/upgrading for the winter.

Our stay coincided with the changeover of new management on this particular Sunday night and we were the only guests in the place so it was nice and peaceful. We had a nice long chat with the new owner Mark about what could be improved in the motel. Our budget room was comfortable and clean just as any comparable standard... More

I had to go to Canberra so I took the opportunity to spend a day at the snow and ended up in Jindabyne. This motel was very reasonably priced and had a fantastic location. There was great views from the room and literally a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. There is a pub attached so a good night... More

Staff were very welcoming and told us we had a free upgrade to a deluxe room. Not sure how this was an improvement on a standard room as the building was barely finished, with no headboard on the bed, and the roof wasn't sealed to the next rooms so we could hear every word that was spoken in the adjacent... We stayed here in August 2013 for 1 night only. We only wanted a 1 night stay after a long drive prior to heading into the snowfields the next morning for the weekend and there are only one or two places in Jindabyne that will do 1 night in peak season, so we didn't have many choices. I read the... More
