We 4 stayed for a weekend and found the room a little cramped but it had everything we needed including a bright clean bath/shower room, hanging space, and a view of Lake Jindabyne. The owner is extending/upgrading for the winter.

Our stay coincided with the changeover of new management on this particular Sunday night and we were the only guests in the place so it was nice and peaceful. We had a nice long chat with the new owner Mark about what could be improved in the motel. Our budget room was comfortable and clean just as any comparable standard... More

I had to go to Canberra so I took the opportunity to spend a day at the snow and ended up in Jindabyne. This motel was very reasonably priced and had a fantastic location. There was great views from the room and literally a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. There is a pub attached so a good night... More

Staff were very welcoming and told us we had a free upgrade to a deluxe room. Not sure how this was an improvement on a standard room as the building was barely finished, with no headboard on the bed, and the roof wasn't sealed to the next rooms so we could hear every word that was spoken in the adjacent... We stayed here in August 2013 for 1 night only. We only wanted a 1 night stay after a long drive prior to heading into the snowfields the next morning for the weekend and there are only one or two places in Jindabyne that will do 1 night in peak season, so we didn't have many choices. I read the... More

I spent 2 nights here at the deluxe room (after reading others reviewers advice to pay more for the deluxe rather than budget rooms) for 4. Room and furnishings were as per description, and the room was warm even without the oil heaters on. I was satisfied, especially since it was a last minute booking.

I stayed in a deluxe room for 5 nights. It was quite comfortable, although very cold on the first night. The room had a heater which was adequate if left on 24 hours a day, but hadn't been on long enough to heat the room ready for a Jindy winter. Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble and the log... More

Just spent 4 days here. Yes, the owner / manager is a very friendly, knowledgeable guy [has been in Jindy 30 years]. Sure, he doesn't want kids dancing on his billiard table - it is his hotel, his future, not some franchise who doesn't care. But nothing is too much trouble, great breakfast, full of tips and info, lovely fireplace... More

Just stayed here overnight while we completed a job in jindabyne. Found this place comfortable and convenient for an overnight stay. Staff were friendly, the breakfast was tasty and the beds were comfortable. Might try something else for a longer stay but for a night or two this place was very adequate. Recommend.

We stayed here last winter for two nights, The Station was booked out and this was the only option we had. The room was very small, equipped with a useless heater, outdoor table and chairs and a clothes rack. The bed was terrible, two singles pushed together to make a queen. The toilet was located right in front of the... More
