Snowy Valley Resort is really more of a backpacker accommodation than a resort. The demographics are mostly made up of young adults/party crowd so this will be a place to avoid if you are looking for something quiet and more comfortable. The room was small but it will do, there were blood-colored spots on the linen which were rather off-putting.... More

I have great concerns regarding the business practices of this company. They left people behind at the rest stop on the way back to Sydney without even checking for them, as they were 8 minutes late. The guide to the driver: "Forget them. Just go." They pressure you to go to Thredbo (they own a bar there) and imply you... More

After reading the reviews here, I feel that this place does not get the fair reviews for what they deserve. We went in a group of 6 people and we had a total BLAST! If you are thinking of going with Oz Snow to begin with, than you know you are in a budget trip. Clearly this is not your... More

Room was clean. Dinner and breakfast were ok, but felt like being at a school camp. There was a menu in the bar, but they weren't making that food.I thought that 12 people to one bathroom was a bit many. Staff were mostly helpful, except gave us three different reasons why we couldn't use the spa. You get what you... More

I stayed last weekend with Oz Snow. What a mistake. Oz Snow is obviously cheap as they make their money off promoting drinking at this bar and the river inn at Thredbo. They will do their best to talk you out of going to Perisha for this reason. The guide guys are very sexist and will do anything to get... More

Don't stay here if you want space and quite. oz Snow really push skiing at at Thredbo they also own the River Inn in Thredbo so they want people to choose Thredbo. They put down skiing at Perisher. They sell lift tickets cheap though. YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Having read the reviews I was expecting the worst. However I was pleasantly surprised. The shared bathroom worried us and the staff made sure there was no one in the room next to us so we didn't have to share anything. The water takes a while to come through so don't be disheartened, the shower will get hot! The beds... More

We stayed here as part of the oz snow adventures, didn't expect much as it was budget - but the walls were so thin, the bunk beds so uncomfortable and the heating so poor that we didn't stay the whole time and left early. Would not recommend.

We did a two day trip to thredbo with oz snow adventures. Considering the price, we expected pretty budget accommodation, but we signed up as the price was right and leaving on the Friday and returning on the Sunday meant we could get two full days of skiing in without having to take time off work. There were 10 buses... More

Great stay as this was part of a group package with OzSnow. Accomodation is tight but does its job as main reason is just somewhere to crash after long day on the slopes. Dinner and breakfast are standard, portions are nothing to rave about but probably sufficient for the average person... The place is run like a tight ship with... More
