Rooms are clean, relatively new and perfectly functional. Underfloor heating is superb! Perfect for those cold winter nights. Shower rooms need updating but are adequate. Nice relaxed lounge and dining areas with 2 great log fires. Dining was ok, but food was a tad overcooked. Included breakfast was good with a decent selection. Wifi didnt work in our room (109)

We regularly stay in east JINDABYNE (we are almost locals) and often go to the Siesta Villa Restaurant - recently renamed "Lakeside Restaurant". PAST meals have been of a high standard. The meal last night 25th July 2014 was very POOR ! No table service to speak of - just meal delivery - and they weren't busy. Meals served on... More

If you want a handy base for the Australian Alps and Snowy Mountains (skiing, fishing, motor biking, hiking) this motel is a good choice for summer or winter. Recent renovations to most rooms mean new bathrooms, furniture and decent mattresses. We loved the underfloor heating. Breakfast (included in our rate) was basic, but enjoyable. The outside of the hotel needs... More

Run by lovely, welcoming, friendly people. We had the oldest, in renovated rooms that they usually don't lease out. Loved the heated flooring, warm and comfy beds. Whilst some of the rooms could do with an update the breakfast, lounge area, open fires and views made the whole stay worthwhile. If you have a car definitely consider this place. Thanks... More

Was just staying overnight whilst driving thru the alps from Melbourne to Sydney. It really was a great overnighter, the food was outstanding, really was incredible quality for the price. The accommodations are very basic but serviceable, we wanted a cheap overnighter and we got better value than what we paid for, mind you it was off season and the... More

This is a pretty old motel, and it's quite rundown, verging on shabby. Despite that it was reasonably comfortable and the heating worked a treat, April in Jindabyne is getting cool. The restaurant had surprisingly good food, breakfast was OK if rather basic. There was a new owner/manager took over less than a week before our stay, so perhaps it... More

We stayed at Villa Siesta five times now and every time we had a lovely break. The location is very good - peacuful environment, away from the main tourist track, beautiful views and walks on the lake. The service was always good and friendly, and tasty dinners were available from Thursday to Sunday. More fruit on the breakfast menu would... More

Stayed 2 nights in a spa room. One of the largest motel rooms we have been in! The balcony overlooking the lake would be fantastic in slightly warmer weather. Fantastic shower (no running around the shower to find the water here). The spa rooms have been renovated and are very comfortable but the rest of the property looks tired and... More

My stay at Siesta was purchased with a Living Social voucher. As I was taking a friend (and not a partner) I asked for a room with seperate bedding. For a small fee, David the owner upgraded us to the spa deluxe room. Im not sure what the other rooms are like but this room is beautiful. Recently upgraded, the... More

Siesta Villa is currently undergoing renovations which may be more complete when you read this. Its location is just out of Jindabyne (about 5 mins drive) on a lake. Its quiet, with a pool table and lots of room to run for kids. The new managers are friendly and from here you can visit Thredbo and mountain walks/bike rides. Lots... More
