We came here for the 4 day pub crawl on horseback and had a fabulous time! The horses were in great condition, responsive and obviously well cared for- each rider is allocated a horse according to experience and is responsible for it throughout the 4 days (saddling etc.). At no stage did we feel like we were in a ‘riding... More

Stayed 2 nights at Bullock Mountain Homestead with partner and 2 dogs and weren't made to feel welcomed, told to turn off radio at 8.30pm and the caravan was below adverage standards. Alison, the owner can be very sharp tongued at times think she needs a lesson in customer service.Only met her husband when he told us to turn off... More

Sorry you felt un-welcomed as it was not our intention when you arrived. Sorry if we asked you several times to keep your dogs on a leash (as was our policy) and sorry if your very loud radio was at 9.30pm asked to be turned down. Plenty to do here if you want to get off your butt and enjoy... More

We did a driving trip through rural NSW with our 3 small kids and this was one of the places we stayed - we thought it might be a lovely farm experience for city kids. It was our least preferred accommodation for the entire journey. They mucked up our booking and so weren't expecting us (seemed a little put out... More

Again, cannot please everyone every time and mix-ups sometimes happen. As we are not a farm stay and do not advertise as one, then yes, a bit of a disappointment for the kids, no chooks or farm animals. Very friendly dogs though that the kids enjoyed. We pride ourselves on cleanliness so cannot understand why you would think the old... More

Stayed 3 nights here in Feb. Ideal location for a couple of days horse riding in the Australian bush, excellent hosts, very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean, bathrooms just outside and were fine - adequate for a short stay. Meals were included on the riding package I'd booked, these were good. Overall the hospitality here is excellent. About 12km... More

Room was clean. Bathrooms and toilets were clean. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Only negative was the unsealed road to get there, but worth going anyway. Bush surroundings were sensational, with plenty of wildlife around.

Sorry about the dirt road, unfortunately we have no choice. Just think though, there was no through traffic and no traffic lights, maybe a couple of kangaroos you had to stop for. More
