We both loved our meals. Great selection of beers. Highly recommended. The Scotch fillet was fantastic. Tuesday night is 2 for 1 off the gourmet menu. This is a better than average pub bistro. Do yourself a favour and give it a go.

The new owners have shifted the focus of the food towards local produce of which Cowra has an abundance. The meals were excellent and there was a good range of wines (local and others) by the glass to compliment the food. With an expanded line up of craft beers, pleasant surroundings and no pokies, the pub is well worth a... More

The food was fantastic, great value and the service super friendly. Great place to take kids with you for a meal. Locals love this place. I could not speak more highly of this palce. And best about it NO POKIES.

My wife and I ate dinner at the Imperial Hotel. We did not stay the night as we were in a motel. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the prices remarkably cheap. We had 300g steak with pepper sauce, the steak was thick and beautifully cooked. The chicken moist and crumb crisp. Cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough.

Late arrival in town. Booked through Lm.com 20 minutes out. Old hotel style- 5 beds one room, bathroom down the hall. Crammed but clean. Great shower. Friday night downstairs but room was quiet. Late in, early out cheap sleep but plenty of motels in town. Lovely town will visit again.Iconic history.

I went with my family and a friend in there for a lunch and we found the place very welcome. It was a lovely environment nice and quiet. Person who served us was fantastic "thank you for that" we felt like we know eachother for years. There was a small menu but food was delicious I loved that risotto. We... More

My family and I met friend in the restaurant for lunch on a rainy day. it was a lovely environment for a meal. There was a small menu, but the dishes on it were varied. The food was quite nice and the prices were very reasonable.

Went to Cowra for the cowra races. First time staying at the hotel and it was bloody great. The rooms were very clean and tidy for a country hotel and very well priced. The food was great. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. A great selection of beers on tap. I will be going back for... More

Arriving late in Cowra we chose the Impy from the small selection given on the 24/7 touchscreen menu at the info centre. Despite asking whether the rooms on offer were quiet, we got an ensuite room on the street. The trucks go all night. Basic tea and coffee supplied. Squashy beds with thin pillows, but clean rooms. Host was friendly... More

We were recommended this by the information centre. We had a room with bathroom. It is a basic NSW pub. Nothing special. It does have a bistro, but we ate out. We were in 8, and there was loud air handling unit or compressor that turned on and off all night. Don't stay in 8. Its on the main street.... More
