This is ideally located to enable you you explore the surrounding area. I am travelling/sleeping in my car just needing an unpowered site. AU$15.00 per night which is quite reasonable. Toilets and showers are clean if not a little busy as they had not opened the other toilets due to the amount of people. Camp kitchen is well equipped with... More

We have stayed in cabins in many van parks across the country and this was the only one we found where soap, tea, coffee etc. were options available at an extra cost. The office was unattended when we arrived early afternoon on a weekday and we had to go find someone. The woman met us as we were walking towards... More

I agree fully with AB1951, John K., and d9959. The manager apparently good to caravanners, but not very keen on looking after and cleaning Cabins. For the $98.00 +$4.00 for Tea, Coffee,Sugar Etc.,it's not good value. Apart from what the others,(above), have mentioned, we had to see the host 3 times over an hour and a half, to get our... More

The park is situated by the river at the end of town. Easy walk to visitor centre, shops, hotels, parks. Duty manager was very helpful and friendly - personally took us to site and assisted with parking the van. Lots of trees and our site was grassy. Garbage bins to each 2 sites so no long walk to dispose of... More

Right in town and on the river, great location. The manager was very helpful and guided us onto our site. Good amenities block. The park was nearly full being Christmas/New Year but it was also quiet - even on New Year's Eve! Good place to stay to see the interesting attractions in Cowra and the surrounding area.

Got caught out to camp in national parks due to total fire ban so decided to go visit Cowra We were camping and they had lovely grassy sites. Clean amenities and a big camp kitchen made staying here easy. Walking distance to town and restaurants etc Cost I believe is fairly comparable to other caravan parks

We have stayed at this park twice now and spent a night here on the last night of our two month trip before landing back home. All the wanted features stack up well. Good sites, good amenities, wonderful location and the bloke who manages the place is the best "backing coach" in the business. Having stayed at a lot of... More

What a surprise this park is, close to the main shopping precinct, pubs and information centre (a must for the Cowra Breakout display). THe park is neat and clean while Craig the manager is a a great personality and is more than helpful when it comes to reversing instructions to get onto your site. He also claims to be a... More

I believe this park is Council owned and needs a lot of work. Firstly the positives, looks OK for caravaners, but we stayed in a cabin, an excellent location and the manager was most helpful and friendly. We were two couples staying in one of the "Deluxe" ensuite two bedroom cabins. It had a queen bed in one room which... More

We rented a cabin for two nights, the double bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the air conditioner all-though being very old (but worked) actually shook the wall and the bed. The triple bunk bed (we did not use) might be ok for kids but not teenagers or adults. If you wanted tea/coffee then there was and extra fee of... More
