This motel is some distance from the centre of Cooma. There is a bar and restaurant on site. Lots of patrons can be accommodated at the restaurant and I suspect full capacity might be required during peak ski season. The hotsts were very accommodating and offered to open the restaurant when I asked about mid-evening meal options in Cooma just... More

We stayed here overnight , the room was clean and tidy very small, pillows need replacing as they are hard and very flat, paid extra $10.00 for an upgrade, if room 14 is an upgrade I would hate to see the room we were supposed to get . There is a restaurant on site but we didn't use it, not... More

Hi Leslie, We like reviews to be factual. Our rooms are on any measure medium size, not very small. Also if you expect/want the best room at a property, don't book the cheapest room! In any case the exact room you were in has been rated a 10/10 by other guests.. More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but were getting a bit tired, they looked like something out of the 70's with the pastel colours in the bathroom. The restaurant was empty when we were there but the food was above average and décor was nice. At $115pn it was at the upper end of what... More

Hello. Thanks for trying our new 2016 Bistro Menu. We have taken a lot of time to create a simple, affordable menu that can cater to all our guests requirements! Fish, Steak, Schnitzel, Lamb Shank, Pizza and Daily Specials! The room you booked was a budget room and I think your description was spot on. We also have other rooms... More

We would have checked out immediately but the rest of town was booked out. We stayed three nights. The room was a 1960 style with cracked tiles, a huge bund around the shower, a squeeze between the basin to go to toilet, no shampoo. Hot water ran out mid-morning and mid-evening.

Hi Michael. The fact was the town was not booked out and neither were we as some conference delegates did not show . Also, please if you ever have any concerns make us aware of them when you stay. You did not, so we had no chance to rectify at that time. Your shower head was actually blocked and took... More

Basic family room that was fine for an overnight stay. Despite it being a family room for four there were only two towels supplied for four people. The central heating was good whigs is important in this area. If on your way to the snow fields, as we were, the best thing was the convenience that next door is a... More

Hi Paula, Thanks for staying with us. A lot of people love our location in winter as we are located right next to Rhythm Snowsports ski and snowboard shop. We do aim to have 4 towels in a family room, they are often in a drawer below TV, if not we have made a mistake so please just ask so... More

Was a quick one night stop on our way to the mountains. Really all we needed was a bed and hot shower, and we got that. Room was average but nothing to complain about. Had quite a good nights sleep also. Central heating throughout the whole hotel was a really good temp throughout the whole night. Recommend for a night... More

We stayed 1 night in Cooma at this motel. We were upgraded to an Executive Room which had recently been renovated. The room was very large, well decorated, comfortable with a king bed and surprisingly very quiet. The only complaint we would have is that for the price of these rooms you would expect to have those little extras e.g.... More

This was a nice motel to spend the night in to break up our trip. The motel is pet friendly which was handy as we have a small dog. For a motel in a country town we were impressed. Close to restaurants.

Got a budget room which was unrenovated and had 60s style black toilet seat and yellow basin plus cacky brown tiles. Needed to wash my hair but no shampoo was supplied. Overall not good value compared with other motels in that price range in cooma.

This a Golden Chain Property and therefore speaks for itself. The ground floor rooms were spotless and the staff and Shane were great. Cooma lies midway at the base of the snowy Mountains and is great place to stopover between Goulbourn and the Sapphire coast. Also a base to visit Thredbo and Jindabyne and a lot cheaper.. A great base... More
