Sleep quality poor, heating is a split A/C that is right above the bed and too noisy to sleep if left running, so the room became cold quickly, also suggest you bring your own pillow if you choose to stay here, as the pillows are not good. Location is good, close to town centre and in walking distance to restaurants... More

Not the most modern of hotels, but the hosts were friendly if not a little keen to close up for the night, and it is a convenient location. They rang while we were in transit to leave instructions for check-in, which we ended up not needing as we got there just before they closed. Compared to other accommodation closer to... More

Thank you for your review. During winter we like to talk to our guests and establish an arrival time so that we can prepare for them should they get caught in adverse weather. Look forward to welcoming you back. More

I travel a lot for work, and this place had the rudest hosts I've ever met. The location is fantastic and the rooms more than reasonable for a country motel. The people servicing the rooms were great and friendly, working hard to keep everything running. Sharon works hard, and can actually hold a decent conversation occasionally but complaining about the... More

Reading the reviews and booking I was a little scared but thought I would give it a go! A very pleasant surprise! Nice large clean rooms, heaps of hot water in the shower and good water pressure. While the rooms are "older feeling" you are in a small country town so that needs to be kept in mind. The daily... More

Dear AnnDeee Thank you for your review. We do pride ourselves on our housekeeping and as you say the rooms are large. The snow is still falling - we look forward to welcoming you back. More

We slept quite well after tiring drive from Snowy Mountains. The only comments I would say are the Wifi doesn't work and tiny shower. We didn't expected too much from this motel but it would be better if the price a little lower as we paid over $150 for the basic room (could get a nice hotel in Sydney with... More

Were very unwelcoming upon arrival, when the price was queried, as was outrageous for a motel in Cooma. Thought maybe ok inside, it wasn't. The decor was drab, and probably the same as was when first built. Tiny T.V. Uncomfortable bed. No soap for basin or shower, just plastic containers attached to the wall with some sort of detergent in... More

Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to hear of your experience. Yes it is an older style motel - as they all are in country NSW. However, we do take pride on the cleanliness of the rooms and receive many comments on how comfortable they are More

After staying at this hotel once before, we decided that we would stay again. Not sure if it was the same people but as soon as we walked in the door, we felt very unwelcome. Maybe, it was because we were riding trikes but the judgement was already in before we got to reception. Now my husband and I do... More

The accommodation was clean and adequate, although the TV could have been a bit larger as it was hard to see clearly from the bed. We did not use the restaurant but the Sovereign Inn is conveniently located in the main street at the north end of Cooma. Shower was excellent and as the rooms are off the road there... More

Stayed here on recent motoring holiday and was not impressed. The room we had was little more than an old sleep out from years gone by. Although clean, it was dated and in relatively poor condition. The attitude of management when we booked in left much to be desired and we felt that we were disturbing their day. The motel... More

Thank you for your review. Our Reception opens at 7am. Our check-in time is 2pm, although we are flexible on this if the room is available earlier. This of course, depends on a number of factors, such as late check-puts and high occupancy. As with the majority of motels in Cooma, we are an older motel and despite soft refurbishments,... More

My boyfriend and I ordered a deluxe queen. We got a shoebox! The bed certainly did not feel like a queen we had barely any room to move and was hard as a rock. The electric blanket still on the bed in summer did not help either. Two terrible nights sleep were had. Luckily we were so exhausted from riding... More
