The owners shouldn't be allowed to run a motel. Room was not ready by 4:30pm.An extra bed had been dumped into our family room which did not allow us to set up baby cot. The bed finally got removed and the cleaner forgot his beanie in our room. The heater cable was too short and we needed to request extension... More

For $90 a night in the middle of ski season, this hotel was magnificent. The room was very spacious and surprisingly warm. My partner found the large TV great amusement, but the highlight for me was the window that stretched across the back wall. The view from the room was spectacular! It showed the whole of Cooma and the beautiful... More

Used this as a base for sleeping only during a visit to the ski fields - quiet motel out of the town centre which was good. Lodgings were fine as a basic motel, great value for the area at this time of year. Motel isn't flash but as a sleeping base only I couldn't fault it at $80 per night... More

My son of 8 years old asked nicely can I play the piano in the lounge after dinner? She said only person with certain level can play? I said how about band 7? She said we had professionals play here. So we shut up. After a while, a group of teenagers just went there and played randomly, the lady owner did... More

Above all the staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The rooms were basic but well maintained, and more than enough for a overnight stay. Great location only approx an hour to tube station. Overall good accomadation and great service for a very reasonable price. Would reccomend for anyone doing an overnight stay on way/way back from snow. Single room more... More

This was a very disappointing experience -our two ground floor rooms were very cramped and as basic as they come, painting was poorly finished and rooms shoddy. No cupboard - just an open space. The receptionist greeted our arrival with a parrot stuck on her shoulder which fluttered in the reception area as she spoke to use. Felt very unhygienic!... More

The outside of the rooms doesn't give a good first impression, and we were left to wonder if we would be warm or dry at night! Also, beware that the carports outside some rooms are deceptive spatially - the one outside our room was only half a car length (what the?!?) while the first spot we pulled up in was... More

Stayed here on the drive up to Sydney from Gippsland Victoria to break the journey. The manager Joo-Siew Kwan was lovely and very understanding of my mother being unwell. The room was comfortable and clean though we would have preffered to have two single beds rather than a queen in a seperate area and a single in the front section... More

My fellow medical students and I (from the ANU) have taken best parts of a week off from our busy schedule to enjoy rural living in Cooma. Let me say, we have had the most wonderful time at the high court motel tours! The rooms were lovely, warm and cosy, we were treated with an abundant cooked breakfast buffet each... More

31 students recently descended on the High Country Motel and lived up to the reviews on here! The rooms were spacious enough, with renovated bathrooms and a very decently sized television. There is a common room that was good to hang out in, play some table tennis and do a little bit of late night karaoke with the owners (Joo-Siew... More
