Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in February with my boyfriend. We were suppose 2 stay for longer but due to the disgraceful behaviour of staff & security we checked out early & went 2 a nearby hotel. The security staff are on a power trip! They r aggressive & gave us nothing but abuse for no reason at... More

We initially booked "pub accommodation", because the hotel booking site we booked on didn´t give us any information on the difference between "pub" and "boutique" accommodation. It wasn´t until we´d read reviews here on TA about the noise issue with the pub accommodation that we realised an upgrade was on the cards. For an extra AUD60 per night, we got... More

I thought I would stay here as I love Coogee beach its a beautiful location and Iv always gone down to the coogee bay hotel for a drink or two, when the games on or to a concert. However I was disapointed when I booked in my room was over priced for a back corridoor no view room. Very dark... More

Well, it has pro's and con's. we stayed in the coogee bay hotel (pub style room) in January and had our experiences. The start was perfect: we found it, we got a suite upgrade, we got free additional breakfast and had the best view ever! The room was clean (though not comparable to other four star hotel rooms really) and... More

We had stayed in the city for 4 nights and then moved out to coogee. We were actually sorry that we hadn't booked here in the 1st place. I couldn't praise the hotel highly enough. It's situated directly across from the beach with lots of lovely cafes supermarkets and shops close by. The room was very spacious with a lovely... More

We stayed for a week at Coogee Bay Hotel for 6 days, on level 1 the Pub side(which is different from the nicer Boutique side). As others have stated, the location of the hotel is great, it's the closest to the beach(right across the road), has a restaurant and a bar(note it can be quite noisy!), and the staff are... More

the place is situated in the beautiful area of coogee beach. the outdoor area is gigantic. the food is very nice and you,ll spend the day there no problem. the only downfall i would say is you could be made to wait ages to be served at the bar whether they are busy or not. but other than that i... I first heard of this charming sea-side manor in the media following the infamous "poo in the ice-cream" saga! Im pretty sure my butterscotch swirl lacked any butt byproducts and simply 100% tasty ice-cream. Great location i just had to cross off the list. Id go back and order a enormous ice-cream and cola spider.

I have stayed at the Coogee Bay hotel twice now, both on business. My first stay was in the Heritage wing, which is older pub style accomodation, and probably OK for a weekend away with the boys. It is older, closer to the bars and noisier. The boutique section is about a 50 walk from the bars, quiet, clean, modern... More
