Great location. Friendly staff and very clean room with comfy beds. Stayed with 3 kids and there was heaps of room. Pizzas for dinner were amazing and we all loved them. Pillows are comfy and I'm very fussy! A better place to stopover than anywhere in Strahan. Check out the legendary oval next door and the museum too.

Room was generally clean but bed felt like it was a 100yrs old pillows were no more than rags in bags looked like a good place to stay and thought it had a restaraunt but did have take away and pizza bit over priced at $115 a night but was not warned about phone calls 3 calls to car rental... More

Checked in late afternoon; reception was good and the guy scribbled on a map to give us an idea of what's what around town. Dinner wasn't being served this night which was a bugger because that's why I booked the place. They were doing their pizza and fish 'n' chip take away menu though. We headed to another restaurant at... More

We stopped in Queenstown on our way through for 1 night and were just looking for budget accommodation to put our heads down. On arriving here we were given an upstairs room that was large and clean with the heating already on. The bed was very comfy and to top it off they make pizzas that can be purchased at... More

This bathroom of this motel is not accessible for a wheelchair user. I had pre-booked and was told that the shower was a large one - my partner who uses a manual wheelchair and a shower chair was not able to access it. We had to go and find another hotel. Staff were polite about us not staying.

I stayed with 6 mates last week on a motorcycle trip. I found the owner to be rude and felt like we weren't really welcome. He didn't appear to be a fan of motorcyclists. We had to park our bikes a certain way in front of the room ?????? We went to dinner ( smorgasboard ) with a bus tour... More

Husband & I arrived dripping & soaking wet on motorcycles (understatement of the year!). No problem at all to them. All staff & management most helpful and friendly. Big plus for the heater on in the room. Were told that they had a buffet dinner available with the bus clients and it was excellent. Room and fittings etc were fine.... More

Like many country towns in Tasmania, Queenstown is very isolated and the motel was a welcome oasis for a comfortable stay which was reasonably priced. This was our second ever stay in a motel and the standard of accommodation was better than what we expected. There was a sofa and a small table with 2 chairs as well as a... More
