This hotel is reasonably priced for what you get. The room we stayed at was a family room and was a good size. Bathroom was a god size with a bath included. Only problems were that the wifi reception wasn't the best and the austar channels were not working.

Stay here after spending two Days in the extremely overpriced town of Strahan. This place is the opposite. It is a unique town hard to explain. We should have stayed here and traveled to Strahan. The hotel is comfortable and priced well. The food in their restaurant is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful.

At rather short notice, we ended up staying in Queenstown and this was the more expensive of the two motels that had vacancies - and not on the main road into town. What we got was a very small but clean room - which was way better than no room at all. The restaurant and reception were still open when... More

Reasonable rate, comfy beds and super shower. Bath looked a little grubby and we found the tv remote under the bed. Restaurant attached to the motel offered generous and tasty food, with super friendly service. under the bed. Food in Maloneys was generous and tasty and service was friendly

Stayed for three days in December '14. Only a few people were there each night but I was still able to use their restaurant despite being the only customer. Owners were friendly, booked a tour for me and gave me details on the sites to see. A very pleasant stopover.

We stayed at the Queenstown motor lodge to attend a concert, very central to town, very clean and comfortable unit. We had a meal in Maloneys Restaurant, couldn't fault the meal, absolutely beautiful, we also had a fully cooked breakfast which was very reasonably priced too. Great service from Peter and Rhonda.

As part of the Fun Tassie Tours trip around Tasmania we stopped in Queenstown on the West Coast in the Queenstown Motor Lodge. The Queenstown mine has been closed for some time so progress in the town is stalled. On opening the door to room 7 we were immediately confronted by the plum coloured walls. The door groaned and creaked... More

If you like a 1980s colour scheme of bricks painted fuchsia with pink curtains and worn emerald green towels, this place awaits. The rooms are small with a crammed arrangement of a wash basin which must double up as kitchen sink on a narrow ledge that also supports the kettle and bar fridge ; with such lack of room, using... Cheap and Cheerful. Friendly staff and good food in the bistro. Old motel but bearable for a couple of nights. The scenic railway runs from Queenstown to Strahan if you're willing to pay the ridiculous price

Accommodations were as expected for the price range.  However avoid coffee if you have breakfast at the motel.  We ordered a long black and were given a cup of instant coffee for $3 (instant coffee is provided in the room)
