I was booked in as part of my work around the state. I missed dinner but owners offer to have me dine with their family. The warm greeting was a wonderful thing after such a very long day. Room was ok, perfect for sleeping overnight. It isn't the most modern of places but I still thought it compared with the... More

We didn't stay at the motel, but went to the restaurant to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The meal as lovely, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated and a more intimate atmosphere than a hotel. Overall we had a great evening.

The manager was really helpful with service, although the cleaning staff need to be reviewed. When we arrived, the previous client's shirt was still hanging in the robe, and the floors looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed. One lamp was missing a globe, and on the second day we were not given replacement towels

Absolutely dreadful experience. Tiny room in need of an upgrade. Far too small to fit a double bed and a king single. Mouldy shower. Bath towels very small, extremely thin and disintegrating. Walls of rooms are thin so you here people talking in the next room. Drunken partying on the balcony walkway outside our room that continued til nearly 5am... More

Just wanted to express how the management and staff at the Motor Lodge were so friendly and welcoming..having just stayed there for 2 nights with my husband and friends, we were comfortable with the accommodation and the meals in the Restaurant were of excellent value and beautifully cooked. No hesitation in recommending this Motor Lodge in this so interesting town.... More

I have reason to travel to Queenstown semi regularly for work and while the weather there can sometimes be inhospitable to someone with northern blood, the management and staff at the Motor Lodge never are. You are always made to feel very welcome and accepted into the little community with no request for help ever refused no matter how trivial.... More

for the price the room was very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful when the wind locked me out of my room on a very cold night. Queenstown is a very different place but when i have to go back again i would stay at this motel again.

I know that a lot of motels in Australia look like that one, but.... Room in pink&fuchsia that needs to be renovated, with an old and not comfortable bad... It looks like a place from an old criminal movie, or some detective story.... So... we decided to buy a lot of wine and managed to survive :) The landscape around... More

Queenstown is so different , it was like going to another world, the left over from the old mining days , the staff at our motel were very friendly , and could not do enough for us , we had a flat tyre and spare and they went to a lot of trouble to help us get back on the... More

Ive stayed at the Motor Lodge many times whilst in Queenstown and found it to be in a perfect location, close to all facillities on the main street and the owners Rhonda and Peter just make you feel at home. The rooms that are available are so comfortable and beds are large and cosy. They will also look after you for... More
