We book this place from back home through an travel agent. We stayed there for two nights. Just the night before and after our sailing trip. The first night we thought we were just unlucky and got a dirty and crappy room. We arrived late and had to leave early in the morning - so we didn't complain. The second... more

Club Croc really is a dump. Clearly on care and maintenence only this tired old hotel should be put out of its misery. Not recommended. more

We stayed here after turning up at 8.30 in the evening. We didnt shop around as we had driven from the gold coast. The room was $140 for a so called deluxe. I think the bathroom had been renovated so the tiles were new. The basin etc was very old as was the air con, tea making area was grubby... more

1) The hotel was not what was advertised. The rooms were cheap "island" decor. The beds were not very comfortable. They weren't very clean either. 2) The hotel was located about 2.5 km from Airlie Beach and the main strip. I should have researched this better as a cab ride cost $8AUD each way from the hotel and the shuttle... more

It was late when we arrived due to flight cancellations etc. Reception was shut but eventually the merry young man in the reception area realised we were waiting guests and raised the receptionist. We were nearly the only people in the place (always a worrying sign) there had just been days of rain and the pool was really disgusting and... more

The hotel is situated just away from the main Airlie Beach area. It is sideally located for visists out to the Whitsunday islands or to the Great Barrier reef. The rooms are large and clean and over look a lovely tropical Oasis. The hotel has good facilities including cheap wireless internet or coin operated units. there is also a guest... more

Terrible is the right word. We booked this place for a stopover from one of the islands before driving back home. At first glance to our room, I knew the experience will not be too pleasant. It was dark, the bedside light was blinking and the aircon was not working properly. My husband checked the airconditioner and found that its... more

I originally booked a 3 night stay at this 'hotel' but after the first night I asked to check out earlier. The man at reception (I think he was the Manager) was extremely rude and would not give us a refund. The beds were uncomfortable and when we woke up we were covered in bites from BED BUGS! We could... more

Same as the review "Sad Place" we had bed bugs in our bed in all THREE rooms they had moved us in. Club Croc is an old dirty place with dripping loud airconditioners which dont give you the sleep you deserve. Avoid this hotel at all costs. more

Club Croc Airlie Beach is located about 2.5km from the heart of Airlie, but there is a beautiful walkway/boardwalk all the way into town.it is a very pleasant walk. The resort is 20 years old, so of course you cannot expect state-of-the-art. I travelled with my husband and our 8 year old son. The room had a queen and a... more
