We found the rooms perfect for our needs, quiet spot, clean, great views, staff friendly and helpful. Close to Airlie Beach but away from the loud night clubs. Comfortable beds fully self contained. Private balconies. Easy to find.

Stayed at this resort for my nieces wedding. We stayed in the apartment right up the back - 3 bedroom (although I do question the room downstairs as being a bedroom - two single beds and a bedside table) - nowhere to hang clothes etc. which I think you need when staying for a week Struggled up the driveway with... We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate your recent feedback. As our resort, like many hotels in our beautiful town, is built on the hillside to take advantage of the stunning water views, some of our resort rooms are on an elevated level. Because of this we are always happy to help our guests with their luggage... More

This was just perfect for our family. Great spot, nice and quiet. We have stayed in many places in Airlie, never in the same place twice. But we'll come back to Shingly Beach resort. If you are looking for quality accommodation at value for money, then you just can't go past it. The view over the marina is spectacular, the... More

We are glad you enjoyed your stay, our location overlooking the Marina and having the Shingley beach park opposite is great for families and children. We are in a nice quiet spot along the waterfront boardwalk. The waterfront boardwalk provides easy access to the marina and Airlie Village. There has just been a new restaurant open on the marina just... More

Stayed in a Villa on the second floor of the front complex. Not much of a mariner view due to the plants/shrubs beside the balcony. Staff are helpful and go out of their way to help. Extra supplies are charged, towels (would expect this at a backpackers), extra bathroom supplies like toilet paper and shampoo. They even charge you $30... More

Like most self contained apartment accommodation on the east coast of Australia, our apartments are not serviced daily unless you are a guest for a long stay. Our apartments are made up with linen and towels as well as a ‘starter pack’ of consumable items and complimentary tea/coffee/milk. However, because they are self contained it is up to the guest... We stayed at Shingley Beach Resort in early Mar 14. The appartments are located in a quiet area close to the marina, and provide a great base for visiting Airlie and the Whitsundays. You will probably need a car to make getting around easier or use public transport / taxi. Airlie itself seamed to be geared mainly for backpackers and... More

The Weather in February and March can be effected by wet spells as you experienced . There are a number of resorts like ours which have been terraced to obtain the best views for guests. it is better to book trips out to the reef and islands once you have arrived , we operate a full tour desk and are... We met family from interstate in Airlie Beach and Shingley Beach Resort was one of the last places available that suited our needs for a 3 bedroom self contained unit. We weren't sure what to expect when we got there but found that from the second we got there, any worries we may have had were completely unsubstantiated. On checking... More

I have been to Airlie Beach many times and stayed in many resorts but this one my partner and I will be returning to again! Beautiful views, large clean and spacious rooms, salt water pools (that is a HUGE plus for us). The staff were amazing and very helpful. Unfortunately there was no restaurant attached but we were recommended to... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. Loved the view, the pool and the rooms. Great that it was self catering with everything you need. Would stay at front rooms next time with no hill to climb! Unfortunately not very close to any restaurants.

Thank you we appreciate your comments ,we have passed these onto our housekeeping staff who we would be lost without. The closet restaurant is Sorrento's on the Marina an 8 minute walk. There is a new restaurant opening in April which is situated also on the marina a 3 minute walk from the complex More

We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 1/2 year old and 12 month old. The rooms were cool and clean with a self contained kitchen - it was equipped with everything we needed, dryer and washer.
